Stayed here on route to trek. I thought the chalet style accommodation was quaint. The garden was wild but that was part of the charm. The rooms were basic but clean and yes it is a problem that there is only hot water at certain times of the day but honestly people have to realise where they are! The food was good had dinner and breakfast there. The staff were helpful, the manager even allowed me to use his mobile phone as there is no signal anywhere.

It takes a good 10 mins to walk into the centre of leh and don't forget a torch if you are out in the evening no street lights!

EThis was great place to stay at.... The drawback it's at foothill and a good 0.5 km walk to the top. The rooms are very spacious... Service is courteous. Variety in breakfast and dinner is limited .... But the staff are very helpful and available all the time. Evenings u can spend having tea in the garden amidst apple trees and beautiful evening skies. Everyday morning u can pluck fresh apples and it' feels really great. I have my blog on Ladakh and if u wish to read the same, please feel free to contact at balram555@yahoo.com. Leh is Gods Desert Beauty. Don't miss Tsomoriri as the same is not as famous as Pangong. A must visit to Army Musuem.....overall a great place

A beautiful resort that maintains the aesthetic and rustic essence of Ladakh. It doesn't offer Internet, wi-fi lounges, super quality chicken or gym / spa / swimming pool, but what it offers is a true essence of rustic peace near the Himalayas. It serves some simple but tasty food (to be honest, even if you do try to eat some heavy stuff, you would vomit it in no time because of altitude sickness and travelling) and the chefs are friendly to care about your choice. You may see insects at night or electricity problems, but obviously you are not fool enough to expect luxuries of a traditional hotel near the "highest motorable road of the world". All the vegetables that are served as food are grown in the resort. Also, you can pick apples and apricots fresh from the trees. The staff is very friendly, and tries to accommodate in best possible manner. I really enjoyed my stay and still cherish those memories.

It was worth it. The resort doesn't boast of hi-tech facilities, TiVo or jacuzzi, but its not for these that you are in Ladakh, It mirrors the essence of Leh in many ways. Only basic facilities are available, there's a walk thru nature to reach your room, food is adequately palatable. If you like Ladakh you'll love this place. In short, its only for nature lovers. We met few people who were bickering about missing Movie Awards Night on TV!! LOL.

This hotel was recommended by the agent via whom I had booked the trip. Thanks to him, else I would have never known, such a nice Hotel exists in Leh.
The name of the hotel goes after the trees, poplar which they have it everywhere. Sadly it also attracts lot of insects.
The hotel is spread across with rooms in between beautiful nature. They had apple and apricot tress, all for the guest to have. The rooms were nice and clean. My parents simply loved the resort.
The food served in the restaurant was tasty. Days we started early, they were kind enough to pack our breakfast for the journey. The only drawback I can think of this property was the hot running water. They don’t have it all the time. & with the weather it’s impossible to freshen up without hot water.
Had a nice and stay here.
