No doubt, its a paradise. Its better than I have thought or seen in movies. I was thrilled and enjoyed the view for more than 24 hours. Drink water as less oxygen.

It is a really stunning lake, you will full enjoy here.I suggest you to stay here for evening and night, don't go for one day trip, evening is very beautiful here & at night you can see beautiful clear sky. Journer to reach here is also beautiful, thrill and extraordinary. When you a about to reach there just before 5-6 Km "dont miss the first look of lake". it is a must visit place if you are in india or coming to india

The blues of the lake are spectacular ! Cobalt blue,indigo,aquamarine ,teal,sky blue,green ,peridot ...one could go on about the shades of blue..If you go ,make sure you go when the sun is out as only then do you get to see the colours. Its a salty lake so be warned if you plan to take a quick drink from there. There will be hordes of people at the beginning of the lake - there are some quick fix restaurants there which serve ,chowmein,dal -rice and some basic veggies. But as you drive along you can find some patches where all you should do ,is sit by the lake and soak in the atmosphere. There are a lot of camps to stay ,though they are all clustered together. So while it will be crowded and over run with people (depending on the season) find your spot to unwind and be mesmerised by the beauty .
