“Go to see sunset and drink masala tea”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

It's hard to get out of this cafe. I always catches nice music and view. One cup of masala, goes into another, already near sunset)) Nice atmosphere and very good cafe owner. The price little higher than in other places, but it's worth it.

“Good place to relax and watch the lights go up at Leh”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

A longish walk from Leh market at the bottom of the central stupa, is a good place to breathe in the mountain air and catch up on your paperbacks and comics. Make sure that the electricity is on, else the coffee shop will only be serving fizzy drinks.

“Delicious Food--CAFE JEEVAN”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

Leh trip from 7th Sep to 15th Sep 2012. This restaurent is in Changspa area. During our stay at Oriental Hotel we had dinner thrice there. You can sit either on ground floor or on rooftop.
Dinner was delicious, mouthwatering. Delicacies served were very good in quality &quantity.
Rates were as comparable as in North Indian Restaurent..To my opinion it is better to take dinners here instead of MAP PLAN in hotels. u can enjoy reading books on rooftop as name suggest
Its actual name is CAFE JEEVAN.

“Nice ambiance on the roof!!”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

The food is decent (especially the salads). Service is pretty slow, still the place is normally full with the tourists of Changspa hotel. People sit here for long hours reading books or surfing net!! It is more like a coffee shop and we can't expect more!!

“Fantastic Iced Coffee! Shame about the rest.”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

Shame they didn't cook the pasta in my lasagna properly, it would have been a delicious dinner otherwise. Also, they forgot to put the honey on the banana fritters dessert...ruined.
