On the way to Sonmerg in the Gandharbal village it is a different kind of temple where Goddess faces opposite to the entrance. Temple is with a large and beautiful surrounding filled up with LARGE and age old Chinnar tree. Temple authority provides good accommodation to pilgrims.

True is its name, the kheer parshad was delicious.... the pandit ji n family very friendly and hospitable.
A beautiful temple around 1 Hr. journey from Srinagar. The water of spring (in the temple premises) changes its colour from time to time. The colours are found to be red, light green, lemon yellow, milky-white, grey-white etc. There is no definite time for its change of colour.
