this hotel seems to be under-reviewed even when it is far better or at least at par with other Manali hotels. Since we already had a comfortable stay at Citus hotel in Allepy, we decided to book the hotel. Citrus resort (known across Manali as Manali resorts) is four km before Manali town giving a calm stay away from hustle of town.
River Beas flows right on the back of the hotel and you can walk to the banks of the river. If you have booked a river view room, you can sit for long hours in in your balcony and watch the river.

It has got excellent rooms with all modern amenities. Staff is very courteous and is a call away with smiling face.
Food served was buffet and I must say it is one of the finest buffet.

Overall a great stay!

Room Tip: always book a river view room and prefer a booking directly with hotel.

stayed here during a recent family trip, the hotel is very nice and the services are great, The food served by the chefs is lip smacking and the staff takes really good care of you, The rooms are very well appointed and look over the river, Met Harpal & Chef Vikas who took very special care of our family, they seemed very excited always to serve you and go out of way to help & assist you.

truly a nice experience, anyone visiting Manali should definitely stay here.

"Enchanted" was my first feeling after entering the hotel from a long journey (Delhi to Manali) in June 2014. Looks premium from outside. We had booked a family suite . As we entered the Suite and checked out the rooms, I was sure that we had made the right decision in choosing this one. Service was prompt. Everything working inside the rooms perfectly. The breakfast was also to our expectations. They had variety and the food tasted good. The Spa was also very good. I would recommend this to anyone I'd come across visiting Manali ever.

The fourth stop in our 22 days North India sojourn. A superb property, extremely well maintained in Manali. The resort is situated on the banks of the river Beas and is just ten minutes away from town. Our room overlooked the entire mountain ranges and of course the Beas and it's rumbling waters could be seen and heard from the room. On a full moon night, the sight was awesome, simply unforgettable.
The resort is clean. We did have some water related issues for two days. Though no one told us what was happening with due honesty, yet in an emergency buckets of water were provided. For a property of this magnitude and elegance though it was unacceptable, that they did not have a back-up water pump.
The lobby is elegant, the reception staff helpful. Again,no internet in the rooms, WIFI only in the lobby and that too of a very poor quality. Even my Tata Docomo did not work.
The food is pricy, but good. The breakfast layout was also pretty decent and there were good choices all around. Very attentive staff in the coffee shop as well.
Most of the must do sight seeing areas are within a very reasonable driving distance. The drive to the Rohtang Pass is an out of the world experience.
The parking area is adequate and your driver is reasonably looked after by the hotel with free meals.
Again, do be aware of what package you have actually asked for. It's imperative you get what you have paid for and that does not necessarily happen-----just a word of caution.

Room Tip: The hotel is basically divided into two halves, obviously ask for the room facing the Beas. You ther...

We had 3+3 days two time stay in Manali resorts, it was a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel is superb, with river beas flowing just next to the hotel. The best part was the ever-present sound of the flowing river in the rooms, giving you a pleasant feeling that you are so near to the nature.Just walk down the hotel to sit by the serene river and enjoy the nature. The hotel has sprawling lawns for kids to play and relax in the sun.

The food is also pretty good, with dinner served in the open lawns by the riverside. The live music, ghazals and songs add to the beautiful dinner ambience. We liked the variety and preparation of breakfast and dinners. The staff is also very courteus, friendly and smiling. We were really impressed when the hotel packed us nice breakfast at 5.00 am in the morning while going out for Rohtang.

Neverthless we definitely recommend Manali resorts if you love the sound of rivers, good Indian food and decent service.

We went here last week to celebrate out 1st year Anniversary. We took a river facing balcony room and it was amazing. We can hear the sound of the water flowing through the river and it feels amazing. The staff, cleanliness and everything was just perfect. Best is they have a lot of parking space there which is tough to get in any hill station. Overall, i guess its among the best properties in Manali.....WOrth the stay!!

Room Tip: Go for a river view facing room!

We went there last week.. After a lot of searching on the Internet and visiting the place personally, I must say it is one of the best properties in Manali.. We booked a river view room and it was simply amazing to see the scenic beauty from the balcony. One can actually hear the noisy Beas.. And see the snow covered mountains.. Soothing it was.. We went for the MAP plan.. And we enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets. We enjoyed the variety they served all three days that we stayed.. The staff at the coffee shop was quite attentive.. The live music adds life to the dinner buffet. They sing amazing romantic numbers and you can actually feel cozy in the arms of your loved one in the cold breeze listening to them around the Bon fire.. The only disappointment for me during my stay was their housekeeping.. Wish they could be more attentive towards the cleanliness of the room so that I don't have to check them next time during my stay.. Overall I loved my stay at this property..

Room Tip: Go for the river view room with a balcony..
