“Peaceful place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

One really really good thing about this temple is that it is not very crowded and there is not too much hue and cry to enter the temple. The surropundings are very clean and tidy with no water or flower petals, milk, sweets etc all around. The people are very courteous.

“Serenity at its Best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

I'm not a religious person, but the temple and its location is absolutely serene. So much so that you yourself will not want to speak much and disturb the quiet atmosphere. The temple is a pretty structure in the middle of a Deodar forest. This is a must visit when you are in Manali. If you like to do offbeat things, and if you're not in the middle of the season when the place gets crowded, then you could try and find a quiet corner of the Deodar forest and sit there and just relax. But yes, beware of the leeches. You know the salt remedy, right? Nothing scary, but if you are one who loves nature, you'll know how to be careful about leeches. The forest being very thick, there is very little sunlight hitting the ground, so the place can get a comfortably chilly, even during the daytime. All in all, a beautiful place. Keep staring at the green, and you can cancel that appointment with your ophthalmologist!

“Beautifully Placed Historical Temple in d arms f chedar trees”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2013

It’s a beautiful walk through the forest to the temple and the area smells beautiful with the scent of wood sap in the air. I’m not sure if the smell was coming from the trees or from the large pieces of wood which were being cut beside the temple to make repairs to the roof. The area around the temple is completely peaceful and calm. Good Place to Relax and Especially for Photography. A must Visit Place.
