My hubby and I decided to spend new year's at manali. we booked at the honeymoon inn. As it was the end of December, it was freezing. The hotel did provide a heater but it was not sufficient and we were very cold. The rooms are spacious. We were given the room at the top floor, so we could hear the snow falling on the roof tiles which was very loud during the night and it was also leaking at one place. The bathroom was maintained very cleanly. The food is average. The staff is very hospitable. Hot water is available for bathing.
Room service is good.
The major disadvantage is the hotel is more than a kilometer from the mall road, and because the roads were blocked due to the snow, the cabs charged us Rs 500/- per head. (just for a km). We did walk back to the hotel. If you own a pair of good boots, then it shouldn't be a problem.
I guess it may be a good place to visit from May to July, when the weather is good.

Room Tip: If you go during winter, choose a smaller room so the heater might be sufficient. The room we chose was huge and we really froze.

We stayed for 3 nigths at Honeymoon Inn Manali.
Room is spacious and clean. Hotel provided room heater which kept the room warm. It was absolutly required in an October weather.
Room service and food is good. They provide buffet breakfast and dinner which has reasonable selection of items. They packed our breakfast even the day we need to leave early hours from the hotel.
Ambiance of the hotel is good and hotel is a walking distance ( 15 min walk ) to Mall road

I stayed at this hotel with my family last week during our visit to Manali & I would highly recommend this hotel to stay at Manali. It is one the best hotels in the mid category that I have ever stayed. The rooms & it's bathroom were quite clean & spacious. The buffet breakfast & dinner which is included in the tariff was very good with lot of varieties. We really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The staff were modest & soft speaking. If you have a kid & want some special kind of non-spicy food such as khichdi or poha for him then you just need to ask the room service about that and they will prepare and serve you at your room. The interiors of the hotel is made of old style wood structure & that gives it an unique beautiful look. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel.

Room Tip: Try to book a lawn facing room
