If you are a nature lover and like secluded places then this is the destination for you.

It is an amazing place to visit. It is around 30 Kms from the Manali Mall road towards the Naggar castle. The road towards JF is full of breath taking scenic beauty. JF gives you amazing opportunities to take some great pictures of the hills and the scenic beauty. Here in JF the temperature drops 7 to 8 degrees below from what you will experience in main Manali.

The words are not appropriate and potent enough to define, you should visit JF to be in Heaven.

I am so glad we made it our mission to find this waterfall! We asked for directions from the Vashisht Temple and really you just keep on going through the main village till you reach the end then you will hit a small innocuous sign saying waterfall. Trust it and follow like we did and you will be fine. It takes about an hour but less coming back once you know where you are going, and there are one or two places you need to be careful but its not a hike, more a walk with a few bumps to navigate en-route. The scenery as you go is just beautiful. It is a great feeling once you reach it! Well worth it for the views and the stunning setting. Just a lovely little unspoiled bit of nature you can go and appreciate. I would advise being careful for those with small kids and anyone who may find some of the climbing bits a bit hard, just take your time and you will be fine. Nearby is a Temple you can visit too.

We went on a half day hike right from the hadimba temple through the manali villages and then trekking up to waterfall.. the hike was more of walking and less hiking which makes it easy for everyone..though the walk is of good long 2-3 hours..The hike actually takes not more than hr..

The place is awesome and the waterfall is a good height giving an amazing view of the manali .. The place is beautiful.. away from the crowd.. must visit if you really want to feel manali...
