“Very good restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2013

It was an auspicious occasion. Celebration of promotion of our boss. There was no better place other than Johnson's Cafe. The ambiance is awesome with mood lighting and decorative sitting. We preferred inside sitting than the garden because it was chilling. The happy hours were on for drinks. However, being a food crazy, I concentrated on food. Starters were moth watering. Trout is famous fish in Manali and preparation at JC was superb. Lamb and chicken too were very tasty. Our vegetarian counterpart was also happy with their platters. Overall, a memorable experience at Johnson's Cafe.

“Great food & service, highly recommend the place.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

Great place to knock back a few beers after a long days ride, hike what ever. The service was attentive & even though the place is known for its continental food the Desi food did not disappoint me. The have a good selection of dishes made with local Trout so a seafood lover like me was more than happy! Their menu had a good balance of dishes to suit most tastes. The ambience is relaxed & the outdoor seating perfect for an evening meal even though the music took me back to my high school days!! Well not complaining about losing a few years there!

“Nice place ! Nice food !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

Nice place to spend an evening very nice continental food ! The waiters took our order at 10 and started bringing the food within 10 min before the drinks could even arrive. They were in such a great hurry to serve us and get us out !

Thankfully the food was very good which compensated foe the rushed service.

The trout and the chicken breast in mushroom sauce were amazing but the pizza can be given a miss !
