We stayed at Silmog Garden for one night on our way to Spiti Valley. We were looking for a stopover, simple value for money option - as our main trip was to begin further uphill.

First of all in terms of location - quite centrally located. We got down at the new private bus stand and walked with our heavy back packs to this place. Roughly 0.5 kms. Also it is very close to the Buddhist monastery. The main market and road are also 200-300 metres away.

Hygiene - The bedsheets and toilets were clean. Everything was neat and clean

Comfort - The room has a decent size - quite spacious for the tariff. Additional table, chairs to spread stuff and relax. There are multiple plug points to charge phones/cameras - also supporting the american plug.

Service - The staff is very helpful and prompt in arranging anything we wanted including steam water, candles, pencils etc.

Highly recommend as a value for money option

we stayed at this hotel in september this year and needless to say the stay was very comfortable.the rooms are spacious and well maintained.this is one hotel where no food is served in the rooms for maintenance reasons. they say it is to protect the linen and interiors from being dirty. there are two seperate dining halls with seperate kitchens for veg and non-veg guests

We stayed 3 nights as a group of 6 friends after cycling the trip Srinagar-Leh-Manali. Finally a good shower!
Everything is fine is this hotel, certainly considering the price. The interior is beautiful and looks special and unique. There are certainly some beautiful rooms.
It is very quiet but still centrally located. Wifi was good. Service was good, especially from the hotel-boys. We didn't eat at the restaurant, we went to Chopsticks and The 4 Seasons.
