“Breathtaking view of the Himalayas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2014

On our check in we were upgraded to a suite from a premium room. They catered for our every needs. The suite overlooked the Himalayas and we saw the snow fall in the gardens below. It was a great pleasure in meeting the G.M.Mr. Puneet Bhambi who made sure that our stay was very warm and comfortable . The trip to the mountain has been overrated in all the brochures and one has to be extremely careful in taking the horse rides. One also has to be very careful when getting out of the slippery bathroom tub as there are no hand rails and no curtains to protect water getting into the naked light bulb which can cause an electric chock.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the gardens

We stayed in Manu Allaya during the summer. It was a very nice place to stay. The kids enjoyed the buffet very much. It had a good variety of Indian and Continental food. Would definitely stay there again if we visit Manali again.

We started this trip as an impulsive decision on a morning to take a flight to Delhi in the evening, stay over night and fly to Chandigarh and then Manali and followed by Chedebri!
Well by the time we arrived at Manu Allaya, it was dark and we were tired. The staff at the reception were quick and we got a really nice valley view room with an amazing view! We were escorted to the garden where laid a nice dinner buffet and live music. The musicians were good too! We stayed there for two nights. The rooms were decent and the service was prompt. We liked the food there and the smiling faces of the service staff! Although only one thing we couldn't appreciate was the breakfast! I think there hotel was full if not 90 percent occupancy and when we came down for the food, there was no table at all and we had to wait for a bit. so from the next day we tried to get room service for breakfast! Apart from that it was a brilliant stay!
they also have a gym(small) and a pool! It is a great hotel for families with kids!

Made a trip to Manali in June 2014 for 4 nights, summer vacations in school in gurgaon were coming to an end, and I made last minute decision to visit manali. Reserved manu allaya via yatra.com and they offered better price including breakfast and dinner. Manu allay is ideal for family getaway, my two son age 6&12 were happy spending time at the hotel vs side seeing. Staff is children friendly and Punnet (GM) was helpful in planning exotic lunch in old manali. Food in hotel is indian it's good, opportunity to further improve to be a 5 star.

Room Tip: Ask for view to Tibet temple.
