“PURE BLISS”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

Spiti valley had been on my list for long but since its so unapproachable... it took me so much time to get there as one needs minimum 8 to 10 days for this getaway.. its beautiful, mystical out of this world.. whoever called it poor cousin of leh must be out of his / her mind... as the river bed is much more expansive or majestic than leh.. so no comparisons... my tour was planned through incredible spiti team and they are awesome... know the place at the back of their hand, and chances are that if u planning to go there, a part of your tour will be outsourced to this team.. why am mentioning this here is as this place is practically without electricity (i was there in first week of Aug and they haven't seen a spark of light for past 2 months!) survive on gen sets, solar and candles... its an extreme weather, extreme living conditions with back to basics stuff.. weather is unpredictable, snowstorms happen, roads get blocked.. so if u plan to be here.. u need a very reliable source who can handle emergencies and take care of u. People are very cordial, the only safety u need is from nature... Vishesh and Tshering of Incredible spiti are as truly incredible... the Pin side had flooded away while i was there and they took great care in informing all of us and arranging things. All in all.. definitely go to the place.. its beautiful, mystical, Tabo will take your breath away for sure... mine it did.

“Marvelous”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

The Spiti Valley is for those who like the extreme. The valley was close to bare with nothing but rocky/sandy mountains and the fiercely flowing Spiti River.
As opposed to the harsh weather, the people are extremely warm and have not as yet been abused by the effect of tourism.
HArd to get a similar experience anywhere else.

“Peak climbing”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

I went there for pick climbing (CB14). I like this place very much because there is too much adventure. I am adventure lover... mostly like pick climbing. May be some time I do kayaking, rock climbing, rappelling, zip line, etc.
