Great place for nature lovers. Biggest cactus garden in Asia - if I remember the info correctly. Has some rare species

“A Lovely place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

There is different variety of cactus in it.

We've been there around 5h00 P.M which is a great time to visit because you have a sunset light and it gave very nice lighting on the park to take some picture ( for people who likes photography) .

It was many squirrels and birds playing in the park and that prove that they respect a natural evolution of the fauna and flora.
We really loved it and we'd taken many pictures.

Keep this way, it's a lovely small heaven on earth.

“Good Collection of Succulents Ruined by Unimaginative Planting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2012

The many claims about the garden on the web and in tourist literature fall flat when one actually visits the garden. Signage is scant, poorly done where available and contains spelling and other errors. The sign at the entrance says that there are 3500 species of succulents at the garden though that is very hard to appreciate after a round of the areas with the planted succulents displayed. Names of plants, description and other details of plants are scarce and come in way of an amateur appreciating the large collection that has been put together with much effort. The planners seem to have got carried away with the larger sized cacti and other succulents and have planted those in multiple locations whereas the smaller succulents and the unusual ones that may not be visually attractive have not been highlighted well, Very small succulents planted in vicinity of larger ones are overshadowed by the more visually attractive succulents. There are many shaded structures with potted succulents which were out of bounds during our visit on Sunday and could not be seen well. The truth is that there are many private and public succulent collections across India which are better maintained and thus a pleasure to visit as compared to this collection. The garden adjoins an open air theatre and much larger park. The parts of the garden not having the succulents are actually well maintained and as worthy of a visit as the succulents.
