“An awesome hotel”

The hotel is quietly set next to the expressway, and has a really sophisticated style. The shops and crowd give this impression. The rooms are great, and much more valuable that the price. The massage chair, and sunroof in the rooms endorse the symbol of luxury that this property stands for. The English-speaking staff is extremely courteous, and helps in every way they can. The wide choice of restaurants are a bonus, with the award-winning chinese restaurant MONK situated in it. The spa is a great place to relax, as is the humungous gym, and the rooftop pool, overlooking the city.

I spent close to 1 week in Galaxy and more than 2 weeks involved in negotiations and used their board rooms. As a business user i was satisfied with the facilities apart from the fact that they charged quite a bomb for the internet usage.

Since i was staying there, I didn't have any issues with respect to WiFi since it came as a package with the rack rates. The hotel has very good interiors and the rooms are really nice. Galaxy is known for it Spa which came highly recommended by a client. They also provide good shopping experience with several shops selling branded items are located inside the hotel. They also had a good movie rental library.

The food, especially the continental options were really good. Breakfast was quite ordinary and had the same menu through out my stay. There is also a good Chinese restaurant and Howzzat (Cricket Theme pub).The cricket theme pub is one of the most happening places in the area and since it was the cricket world cup time, it was always jam packed.

So much for the great things about the hotel. The worst part is with respect to staff. Some of them had trouble communicating and were very unfriendly. While I was served food as late as 2PM at my room couple of days, they refused to do it another day. At the same time there were two three staffs who were well behaved and ready to service us at any point of time. But at least 50% of the staff were bad.

It is quite sad to see that all the good work they have managed to do with the ambience, food and other value adds have been negated by certain staff.

the hotel claims to be a 5 star but looks like far far away from that, the rooms were just OK no mater how spacious they were... The place is not accessible by local transport like all other hotels in Gurgaon. The food was OK OK . In short was not the best place

Brilliant hotel in an ultra modern style. From the moment you arrive and get the lift up to the lobby it just exudes modernisticism. The rooms are fantastic with huge, comfy bed and large flat screen TV (2 in my room). My room even had a massage chair in it, not a simple one like you see in airports etc, but a comprehensive machine that even did feet and ankles. The bathroom was splendid with a huge tub as well as shower. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall with restaurants. The bars are comfortable and service is good. There is very little about this hotel that could be described as traditional. It is rather expensive but worth it for a short stay, for the experience.

This is a 5-star property. Rooms were very large and very clean, service was over the top (as expected for this hotel class), and requests were generally well handled.

Internet went down twice during the 4 night stay, had to call and ask for it to be reset - but they insisted sending someone to my room to check - i'd rather just get a call when its back up, but thats not how they do it.

Hotel claims to have a western restaurant, but couldn't find it the first night, and when I asked, found out it was under renovation. This left the main restaurant, the asian restaurant, and the cricket pub as the dining options. I didn't try the cricket pub but thought the food was so-so in the other restaurants.

There was an odd odor in the hallway and not quite sure what that was from. Hotel was nice to accomodate a late checkout (around 3pm).

The hotel is quite a bit far from anything. The hotel tends to be on the opposite side (the west side) of the main business offices, and a bit south. I'd try stay at a hotel closer to the offices if I return to Gurgaon. Taking a taxi from the hotel to a restaurant, etc. is an expensive endeavour.

I had to stay in hotels for 3 weeks for my Gurgaon visit and I spend my first two weeks in Leela kempinski. They didn't have room availability beyond 2 weeks so had to change my hotel and had to stay in Galaxy.After staying in Leela for two weeks ,Galaxy looks like an inn.It's good for may be 3 star hotel category but 5 star....not possible.Everything from parking,lobby,staff,rooms and service was mediocre.I don't know how they even qualified for 5 star hotel category.If you want to spend so much money then look for other hotels.....At the checkout time..the hotel staff asked about the Mini bar usage and I told him that I didn't use the Mini bar and when I was leaving the room they had guts to send someone and check the mini bar in my presence.It was really awful .After experiencing such wonderful time in Leela Kempinski, I wish I had not gone to Galaxy and explored some other hotel.

Galaxy offers superb ambience in their Hotel. Galaxy offers inhous restaurant which offers every cuisine which you can think of. Additionally the room is a king size room which makes youfeel at the top of world
