there is a variety of restaurants that always make u happy where the food is always good and the service is superb, these are the places where u frequent as a foodie, but sodabottleopnerwala is not such a place, Mr. A.D. Singh u have once more outdone yourself, this is a league in itself, the new place in town which has opened our punjabi, and delhi eyes to a new plethora of flavors and this zorastrian cuisine is nothing short of brilliance. the chef making rounds and explaining all the food, the big manager parading all the troops and the standard that you have achieved every time i have eaten with soda absolutely blows my mind.
my hats off to the chef, and to you Mr. Singh

Very impressed by sodabottleopenerwala. The food was outstanding: the mutton beri pullao in particular is really special. Looking forward to it getting a liquor license since I'm sure their drinks will be spectacular.

This is a place that could have been great. It tries to evokes a place and a space that is far away from the "non place" that DLF cyber hub is. Don't get me wrong, it's modern, glitzy, clean and completely unreal in the dust bowl that gurgaon actually is. In this space anything that tugs at your heart strings should be nice, and I so wanted to love it. But could not ! Came back feeling disappointed. The decor over promises, the product under delivers. It's staged history and staged culture, you know it, but you want to feel otherwise. It's contrived. The food could have salvaged the heartbreak, but sadly it does not...Aah, this could have been great !

First a shout out for the Cyberhub complex, other than the lack of creativity in naming the complex (is it only for IT people, is it an IT office canteen my mother in-law inquired), this is definitely a great and positive addition to the NCR social scene. Nice job DLF now please keep up the space.
OK - SBOW, great concept, one of its kind in NCR and very nicely done. The décor though a bit busy with 1950 Parsi kitsch makes the right point. The space is small and was quiet busy on the sunny Saturday afternoon we visited. The service at this new restaurant was still finding its feet but acceptable and very polite.
The food – that is why we went is the hero. I am no authority on the parsi/irani cuisine, but, the food was straightforward and interesting. The drinks, particularly the special mixed drinks were unique. I had the “plum and mint” cocktail which is served in an old half pint milk bottle – delicious. They don’t have a booze license yet, likely thanks to some babu drunk on power. Portions are just right sized and can be shared, but order abundantly so you can taste the variety of flavors. Loved the keema patty and the Vada pav. The Biryani’s were excellent as well. The “patra fish” which is a parsi mainstay was just ok though…bland to the pallet. One way to describe the flavors is “Gujarat meets Non veg”… so expect sweetness and lots of nuts and dried berries in many dishes. Deserts were run of mill so rather have the Kulfi or Frozen yogurt at another outlet as you people watch at the “cyberhub”.
Great place, will carve itself a niche. Great location, interesting décor, different food that’s a nice change from the usual.
