“Surprisingly Beautiful Food...!!!”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

And I use the beautiful food for a reason, since the charm of a fine dine comes from the presentation and then on you decide if you would like it get in to your lips (quite similar to your women :) And 4 stars for shining on both counts. The lamb stew was just great, my martinis were just made right. One thing missing was a variety of desserts which is easily achived once you have bakery by the side. Be a little adveturous and bring in more variety to the menu. Keep this going and you would see many like me around more often.

“PatheticRuined my afternoon!!”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

I and my friend visited the restaurant on3rd July 2014 for Lunch. We opted for lunch buffet (Rs. 400/- plus tax). We had passed by this restaurant a few times and the ambiance seemed rather inviting but the lack of customers always made us feel pretty apprehensive. Somehow, and am still wondering why!!, we decided to try the buffet lunch. It was a fixed menu with Soup, 3 Veg & 3 Non-veg starters and 1 dish in Main course which could be chosen from Indian, Continental or Chinese (1 option each) and 1 dessert out of a selection of 3.

We started with the soup which was rather good. In starters we were served Falafel, Chicken wings in barbeque sauce, Chicken lollipops, Some strangely vegetarian Chinese dish which seems like chilli paneer and Chicken kebabs. Am sorry to say but all veg and non veg dishes pretty much had the same taste which was of burnt soya and full of MSG. It’s Only the Chicken kebabs which tested a little different…a bit like shredded cardboard.

In main course we ordered Chicken curry with roti and Penne Arabitta with chicken. The chicken curry again was just raw spices and salt .. no taste at all!! God knows what the curry base was made of but all we could taste was salt, cardamom and clove. Penna Arabitta which usually is a pretty safe dish was again devoid of any tomato base or flavor. It tasted a mix of garlic, basil and SALT.. lots of SALT!! We ended up returning it and asking for Spagatti Bolognese. We were pretty sure they’d goof it up as by now we had quite an insight to their culinary skills but still we decided to try our luck… and the restaurant didn’t disappoint us!! Our premonition was spot on!! It was again full of SALT with a thick floury base and something which seemed like melted cheese but tasted more like some cheap cheese based mayo. The pieces of chicken were simply boiled and were tasteless...just sitting in the thick gooey yellowish sauce. It was horribly inedible. We tried adding tomato sauce hoping that it would might make the whole thing edible enough to help us overcome our hunger but sadly it didn’t work.

Well…all our hopes were pinned on the dessert which was a choice from Caramel custard, Vanilla Ice cream or Daal Halwa. As lest these can’t be SALTY!! We ordered Caramel custard and behold we were served 2 pieces each measuring 1 inch x 1 inch x ¼ Inch in a big dinner plate!! We were absolutely spellbound. This is the first time I has seen any restaurant serve caramel custard like this… 2 pieces sliding around in caramel syrup in a huge plate.

We ended up taking to their Chef Sharma who feigned ignorance and said that maybe his team goofed up and he’ll have a word with them.

I must say this is the first time I have come across a restaurant were they have put in all their effort to ensure that not a single dish is edible. Full marks to the effort!! Am sure the owner must be a happy person having such a wonderful staff!!

Most surprising bit,.. the bill doesn't even have the restaurant name on it. Check the image attached.

We tried talking to the lone guest that was there to get an idea on her experience as we wanted to understand that was it the buffet that was bad or do they manage to make every dish as crappy but the server told us that we can't discuss food with other guests !! Wow !!! Quite a restaurant!!

“Luxury dining”
Reviewed May 20, 2014 via mobile

Went only to see the ambience of the restaurant. Tried tomyum soup and veg biryani. We were thinking to order manchow soup but waiter insisted to have tomyum soup and it was a real delicacy. One needs to try.

“Excellent food with good service”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

We walked into this restaurant with some apprehension as it was new. We were blown off by the food quality and taste... they have a introductory menu which is huge and gives you more food then one can eat.... Indian, Conti, chinese... all the dishes were superb... Keep up the good work and maintain the same taste... Pricing is also ok....
