Owner description: The Stellar Children's Museum is an interactive, play-based museum, modelled after some of the best Children's Museums in the world. At the Stellar Children's Museum, we engage children and families in exciting experiences that instill an appreciation of our environment, develop foundational skills, and ignite the thirst for learning. The Museum is a welcoming, safe, imaginative, child-centered learning environment that supports diverse families in nurturing their children's creativity and curiosity. We believe in the intrinsic value of play and provide opportunities for experiential learning, and multisensory, object-based exploration. Through our educational play-based exhibits and programs, we focus on developing cognitive skills like Gross and Fine Motor skills, Sensory Awareness, Social & Emotional Learning, Problem Solving and Language & Literacy. Our educational focus is built on the theories about open-ended opportunities for play and its potential to support and enhance a child's ability to learn and solve problems. We believe that that children learn though active experiences and moments of shared discovery in their environment and that during play, children are able to think in more complex and abstract ways.

“Innovative Concept!”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

I went with my niece to this place and must say it was educative and fun. Young children can learn about many scientific principles and do fun activities too(like painting on glass, etc).

My niece had a lot of fun and had a hands on experience with so many thing she learnt at school.

“Something different for the kids”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

This place is a breath of fresh air, offering something different for the kids. We took our two and five year olds and they loved it. The place is clean, the people are very helpful and enjoy spending time with the kids showing the various exhibits.I would say this is pitched for 2 to 8 year olds. Good for 1.5 to 2 hours. Would recommend you plan timings around when the kids will need to eat as once in you can't come out and go back in again with the same ticket, and the cafe only had only two sandwiches on offer.

Reviewed August 18, 2013

An absolutely awesome place to take your kids for hours of fun and learning. Been to similar museums in the US and Canada and was surprised to see that they had similar exhibits . Hats off to the Stellars Children's museum for introducing children to Science and other practical applications in such a fun way !!!

“The only place in Delhi where play and education come together for children”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

The Stellar Children's Museum is one of a kind in Delhi which provides a space for children to learn and play at the same time, and is perfect for the days when its hot to be outdoors. There is really no other place with enough thought put in with educational exhibits and interesting activities. Their educators are always around to aid the children. It is definitely a place I would want my children to spend time in.

Some find the entry fee a bit steep, but for the space, design and location - I find it pretty fair considering a trip to the movies would probably amount to the same expenditure.

I hope this encourages people to open more of such places around the city, so that there is greater diversity!

“Excellent place to take children”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Our daughters love the place and we visit it nearly every month... Great place for children to learn a little bit of science... Kids will definitely have a good time...

Great initiative in India… any day a better investment of time than those glorified activity centers!!!
