The food, ambience and the location are all excellent. The service brings down the experience by many notches though. They seem to use bouncers for waiters. Obnoxious behaviour from their so called floor managers have ensured that I or my friends never visit them again.

The original trendsetter - started out as 'Cafe Sound of Music' and re branded itself as Turquoise cottage.

One of the safest, coolest and spacious places on the Mall mile to grab some drinks with friends.

The USP being - the place is perfect for both - a romantic evening or a not so romantic evening with friends ( unless you are a creep who eyes your best friend with lust).

We have been going here since 2008 and one small let down is the music - it used to be classic rock mixed with some new age punk and retro. I heard some Rihanna last night. I rest my case. She was singing about finding love in a hopeless place - it couldn't be any more literal.

As most people say, the Honey Chilli Potatoes here are their forte. A MUST EAT.

We also ordered a Chicken Satay with peanut Sauce - DELICIOUS.

Pepper Chicken Winglets - super, cooked to perfection.

Avoid the Honey glazed pork spare ribs - honey and pork just don't go together. The combination is equivalent to watching a movie starring Scarlett Johannson and Uday Chopra.

The ultimate favorite is the cheesy mushrooms - big cap mushrooms stuffed with cheese. Simply the best.

The happy hours run till late in the night and are not like the obscure 4-7 offers some places have.

The place is VERY ECONOMICAL compared to most places in the Delhi NCR region and everything is priced keeping in mind that youngsters who work in the offices around DLF frequent this jaunt. Rich people like me also go neverthless, because I like to keep it real B-)
For about 1000-1500 per person, a fun evening with drinks and food is feasible.

A fantastic place to grab some drinks with friends, a nice evening for two on a candle lit table ( but with music) or a quick drink after work ( haha, trust me it never ends up being quick - you will stay longer). This place works in all scenarios and if they can fix the music scene and not play Lady Gaga and Rihanna, the good old rock music always acts as a deterrent against anti-social and low profile elements since they can't stand it :)

One of my favorite places in Gurgaon, recommended.

A very nice ambience with good music. A must place to hang out on Friday night with friends for some beer and snacks.

We used to visit Turquoise cottage in Delhi and when the Gurgaon Restaurant started we were happy and not disappointed when we visited it, first for the Sunday brunch and then the family dinner. Good food, but the music was too loud for me personally although the youngsters enjoyed it. I don't know whether the gap in between the service of two courses in intentional but that gave us time to enjoy each others company more and also the good food served.

Its a nice hangout night club. The draught beer and IML is good and reasonably priced. The food is okay. The ambience is decent and has a retro look of 60s and 70s...Friday nights are good for listening to some good classics that are playing here. However, the location is a little off track. Its located in JMD arcade that becomes deserted after banks get closed by 7 pm.
