Reviewed July 26, 2011

For business purpose, we doo come back to this hotel regularly. Good hotel with good facilities for conference and meet.
Disco is good and so is the crowd. Rooms are cosy and well decorated.
It is situiated at a convinient place from the main offices.

Room Tip: both rooms & toitels are great

Here came a chance for me when I had to go back to Gurgaon for one night.

and I thought of staying at Bristol Gurgaon.

I had lots of parties here and i knew the hotel well, but when it come to staying there i was not sure about how this will treat me.
well it was about one night only, the rooms are Decent clean and perfect for a business trip.
the room service is quick and quite professional.

I had my dinner at Zaffran, the in house restaurant. the food is good and they offer choices from hydrabad and lucknawi cuisine

I had to leave early morning, so didn’t used pool or gym.

just one caution, don’t expect that after coming out of hotel you will get a cab, its a jam pack road outside and you will be stuck in it,
BTW metro station is just a walk away (if you want it... coz its too is very crowdie and not much recommended)

well Bristol is a big yes... it will be bit hevy on your pocket ...but then you are in Gurgaon after all.

we stayed here coz its close to the venue where we were sposed to work..
the hotel staff conveniently mixed up details and photo Id's making sure that it took us forever to checkin...anyways we went to lunch in their restaurant while they did that... the food was good

the room was decent nothing out of the ordinary... it had the view of some construction work going on in a field.. room service half decent and their food was again half decent..
this is at best a mid level luxary hotel or a 4 star.. the room's are decent and clean and all in all there's nothing which says luxurious wether in the hotel or in the luxary room i was staying in...

stay here if u have work in gurgaon..

Stayed here just for fun. The hotel is small and so one gets personal attention. The Restaurants are good. The food is excellent. The coffee shop - Palmyera is really good - buffet spread is lavish and we liked it.

I've been staying in the hotel for 4 nights and after that I switched to Park Premier in Gurgaon so I can really judge the difference.
In one sentence the Bristol hotel is worn out. It has served its years. It's the time for major refresh. Those years are visible in many places. The paint falls out from some places from the walls, there are stains on the walls from leaking pipes, especially the bathrooms should be renovated as soon as possible. Also the carpet in the restaurant, furniture and airconditioning. I was in Gurgaon in December where the temperature in the night can fall quite low but the rattling aircon kept blowing cold air to the room. Not funny.
The rooms are kept clean, that is the only positive that I can say. But that is far too little to provide justification for the high price tag.
If you count the frendliness of the service in sirs/minute than they are very kindly. If you ask for anything the answer always is "no problem sir" but in the end you don't get what you want. When I asked concierge about sightseening Delhi he was not able to articulate anything in proper English or give me any advice on how to do this.
There were few more annoying things:
- bad brekfasts, little choice of untasty food
- they were continously spraying some very strong aerosol in the building not a nice experience
- from the loudspeakes in the corridors and lobby they play over and over same 2 - 3 minute music fragment that created "Alone in the dark" (if you now the old version of PC game).
- the minibar has not been refilled after I ate and drunk all from it
Someone said that this hotel is at good location. I would question that as well. Like in the whole Gurgaon it is hard to reach any point in the city without a cab.
The advice from the locals is that if you want to stay in a good hotel in Gurgaon than chose Park Premier. And so I did. That is also my advice to you dear traveller. Park Premier is much newer, cheaper and has better food and the professional service who speaks English and does you aske them for.

Uninviting lobby, reception at first floor , few unpolished staff with heavily accented english (Haraynavi), ok food, not so comfortable room, good gym though, ok b/f, proximity to malls though is anm added advantage
