Fantastic setting of the restaurant, we were there post midnight but only if the service was more attentive it would have made this memorable. But what we came for we got....great food and a nice time. Go for it.
Cheers

Was staying at the Oberoi and ate in the 361 restaurant.

The setting is excellent, the food presentation is very good and it is clearly a high end, quality restaurant.

But it is incredibly expensive by Indian standards, a meal for one here is more expensive than a similar meal for 3 at one of the decent restaurants in the Ambiance Mall (and food there is just as good), services was average and atmosphere quiet, even on the Friday night I was there.

So, yes it is pretty decent, but for this price I would expect superb.

We had heard a lot about 361 & went with high hopes. On the positive side, the ambience is spectacular. The service was good. The hotel too is an incredibly green island in Gurgaon's concrete ocean. Everything else about 361 was a let down. The staff couldn't find our reservation on arrival. Thankfully the restaurant wasn't that busy & they located a table for us. We ordered a mix of Indian, Pan Asian & Western cuisine. The food arrived and other than the mushroom soup and a fish appetizer wrapped in banana leaf, every other item was poor by any standard, let apart those you expect at an Oberoi. The penne pasta we ordered was undercooked, an Asian chicken appetizer was rock dry & the shrimp & asparagus dimsums were most unremarkable. Worst was the roast chicken, which was dry & chewy.

Given the spectacular reviews here, I wonder if they were having an off day or have they let their guard down recently. Any which way, I am unlikely to go back here for the food.

Excellent on every front - the Indian food is great (especially the Tandoor Chicken starter - and the Rogan Josh main). If you ike spicy szechuan style chinese then you will like the food here. Seriously spicy and great flavours. If weather is good you can also sit outside and enjoy a cold beer.

Breakfast was also very good.

Went for a business meeting and had a good time waiting for the people. The ambience is fantastic, staff is nice and courteous, we ordered the mixed veg and non-veg pizza which was enough for 2 people. Great taste, authentic flavours and really sumptuous. Coffee there was fantastic too.
