As usua.l, an excellent venue. The only issue I had was access to the internet. The last option with surname and room number passwords worked well and should be instituted for all guests
Everything else was both professional and welcoming
Well done

Room Tip: All are OK

My wife and I stayed at the Palms this month (November 2012) while travelling to and from Delhi. The hotel rooms on two floors are clean, well-furnished and situated on an estate with lawns and swimming pools and the rooms are closed off from the din and dust of the chaotic streets of Gurgaon. There are two good restaurants and a bar also within the estate. The staff are attentive and courteous.
A couple areas of improvement are minor quibbles. For example, I thought the laundry that was done well and delivered on time was a touch expensive within the Indian context. Secondly, there were a couple of hiccups with the chauffeured car provided by Palms. In one instance the car was not at the entrance door at the time requested and no explanation for delay was provided, and in a second instance, the request for a car made the previous day was not expedited – evidently, the request was not documented. Leaving these constructive criticisms aside, we would highly recommend the Palms Town and Country Club.

Room Tip: Choose a corner room facing the swimming pool. It provides privacy and is away from the traffic noises.

Stayed at Palms Country Club a few months back on a office conference. A really nice laid back hotel in the heart of Gurgaon. The rooms were quite large and didn't give you the cramped up feelings one gets in a lot of 5 Star hotels .The room decor was excellent with really well maintained period furniture. The property was quite well maintained and had a lazy & relaxed feeling about it. the breakfast spread was ok and the food in the hotel was average. However, the conference facilities were good and the evening party was well managed.
Would advise to check in instead of those lofty 5 stars as it gives you a chance to unwind after a hard days work.
P.S. : The airconditoning in the rooms worked too well and the room became too cold for comfort.

I stayed at the Palms Town and Country Club over a four month period between July and October 2012.
The Palms is an oasis of calm in the bustle of Delhi. Situated within a few minutes walk of a main metro station it has easy access to Delhi (40 mins away) and is well situated for anyone visiting Gurgaon. Set in immaculate grounds, the hotel itself is made up of a number of low rise buildings. The reception area and the restaurants are linked by covered areas where stone columns, ponds and palm trees create a real atmosphere. The bedrooms are situated in two blocks set around the open air pool with well-kept lawns between them.
The hotel is very well kept. It has been built to a high standard and unlike many hotels in India it has been finished to a high standard. All the staff from the General Manager down to the waiting staff are friendly and take great pride in the hotel going that bit extra to ensure that the Palms is not just another hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and personal attention to detail makes the Palms a great place to stay.
All the rooms are a good size and are kept spotlessly clean. The housekeeping is easily as good, and is in fact probably better than the perceived top hotels in Delhi.
The hotel has a good outdoor pool which is never too busy and a very well equipped gym. There are three good restaurants from which I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal.
Good points
• Well-kept quality hotel set in lovely grounds
• Three good restaurants offering a variety of menus
• Good clean pool
• Well-equipped gym and fitness suite
• Great service with personal attention to detail
• Quiet setting – no road noise.
Bad Points
• Music in the health suite and gym far too loud.

Room Tip: Noise from the gym - music can sometimes be heard in the rooms above. this is not a big issue but if it is a concern go for the block nearer reception which has the same views of the pool and grounds but no noise. I would stress however that the noise is not a problem.

i stayed here for three nights on a company training assignment. it was my first trip to India so i had an open mind regarding hotel stay. the hotel is situated 30 minutes drive from Delhi airport and its advisable arranging for a pickup in advance from airport to hotel.

Room Tip: choose room overlooking the swimming pool.
