“Excellent Food”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

This is my third meal at K2 and each time I have left a happy and content man !
The Kimchi and other accompaniments were excellent with an interesting mix and balance of spicy and not so spicy .
We orders mushrooms , which were a delicious smoky flavor . Prawns were fresh and flavorful while the chili pork rice was superb.
The drawback here is service . Though polite and eager to please they aren't able to explain the dishes very well .
Average cost is Rs1000/- per head .

“Me and Raj were the only...”
Reviewed July 11, 2008

Me and Raj were the only Indians at this place. A whole group of Koreans had come along and were having a jolly time getting sloshed and singing along to Korean karaoke. Pretty boisterous crowd.

We started with a spinach miso soup and a spicy chicken starter. It came with bowls of kimchi, pickled radish and julienned squid. The squid reminded me of dried fish we have at home.

For mains I had an octopus and veggies stir fry with sticky rice and miso soup and Raj had Indonesian glass noodles. The octopus was good but too hot for me. Thankfully we had Asahi beer, a Japanese brand, to go with our food. One smooth beer that.

The menu is extensive but many of the dishes are named only in Korean so you have to ask what each is. They have a variety of seafood, as well as a pork and tenderloin section. There was the beef strips and glass noodles in a soupy broth that we had had in Bhutan. Would have to explore the menu a bit more here.
