Its the old townhall for Barodians, where the citizens of Vadodara gather to savour various performances. A lot of concerts, dramas and many more events have been organized here.

You are greeted by a walking stick holding finest Gandhi statue one can see any where in India. The 1000 seated-700 ground floor and 300 in a Balcony is always booked by all entertainers magicians drama and 'orchestra ' music group singing Hindi Film Music all the year round. All those who want to do a la jantar mantar DElhi-PROTEST agianst anything do it under the giant Gandhi smiling back at these would be satya Grahis. We did against Reservations in 1982/84 and again as Doctors for many national issues taking refuge under the Gandhi statute as if all dramas in real Life has to happen outside The Dramatic staged Auditorium of the cultural capital a city named after a Banyan trees.
