This market comes alive after 5pm. Amidst all the wares which are bling and of basic quality one can find some good quality stuff if one seriously looks. Most of it has souvenir value or if one was to acquire a traditional outfit for a one time wear. A lot of bargaining is the norm here.
Wher the shops end the food stalls begin. It is a heady ambience with hundreds eatings from hawkers and stalls all along the road. There are tables and plastic chairs set up in front of most stalls. One can eat anything from Pizza to Dosa and traditional specialities.
Must try the Ashrafi Kulfi. We had the mango kulfi and it was extremely good.
