“Mind Boggling Collection with a very good Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is one mind boggling place, imagine yourself to view 100-150 odd vintage cars, the Mercs, Rolls Royce, Fords, Fiats, Chryslers of the world. All neat, clean and crisp.

The gentleman who owns this for sure has a great taste and a passion to preserve and maintain this cars in the best possible manner. Tickets are decently priced, though the charges for clicking (INR 100) and Shooting (INR 500) are on the higher side.

Overall visit should take close to 90-120 minutes and would have appreciated if the trip inside the museum could have been interactive like if someone could have explained on each car or some more details about the cars displayed.

You also have a choice to ride one of the cars for 3 odd kms for INR 500/-, kind of decent experience. Come out of the museum and you have kiddie rides, very decently priced and neat stuff.

Adjoining to the museum, you have Vintage Hotel, owned by the same gentleman. Anyone wanting a Choki Dani or a traditional experience of food, should visit this place. Staff within the restaur is very courteous, food finger licking and variety is way too much. Please keep an hour or so free after the food cause its bound to make you feel heavy and sleepy types.

Worth a visit to the restaurant also.

after taking the airport exit from the express highway and travelling about ten kilometers on the left lies the auto world vintage car museum. it has marvellous collection of about 160/165 odd vintage cars ranging from 1910 to 1955 the first of its kind i've come across. they charge you a fees of rs100/- for entry and incase you desire to take a ride on one of the vintage marvel perhaps you have to pay a hefty 500/- for about a 3 km ride. it showcases the cars of cars of various dynasties as also various companies right from fiat to rolls royce

“Wow....................so many Beautiful Cars!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

I have been to this place more than 3-4 times in last 2 years . My recent trip to this place was with my German friend (they love the cars a lot) and he was amazed to this place with more than 70 antique cars in one place. They have maintained this place very well and the labeling of each car which will tell the year of car mfg , make and the Royal family who bought this car . They also have a nice restaurant which serves Gujarati thali in a traditional way .
