I have been to this restaurant more than three or four times in last 6 months. Reason: when the Ahmedabad food gets too much and you are looking for a change of taste, it is a worth try.
I saw about Delizio in news paper and also noticed the restaurant while travelling on the Anandnagar road. I decided to give it a try as previously in Chennai we used to enjoy the international cuisine in various hotels but I didn't find many in Ahmedabad. There is a small parking in front and also valet service so that pain is taken care. Next, outside the restaurant there is a small kiosk for quick desserts but we haven't tried them yet. Enter the restaurant: It is not big perhaps 8-10 6 seater tables with dim ambience and we generally get vacant seats without much waiting. People in Ahmedabad enjoying dining in groups. There is a choice of a la carte or the buffet which changes the menu for each day. We have done the buffet part always as it is less cumbersome to agree on the dishes. Soup, starters, sides, main course and the dessert are all from different menu. For example, we got the tomato cream soup (the names on the menu are alien to me so I can't spell or pronounce them hence using simple lingo) along with mexican patties, hummus and baba gnouchi for fillers or starters. Then we got Lasagne, and Pasta. Nachos, pita bread and soup sticks were also given in parallel. We ended it with mousse and it was interesting as we kept moving between mexican, italian and lebanese menu (middle east food inclusion is a nice touch.). The taste is not absolutely authentic but it is pretty satisfactory. Prices are in line with Ahmedabad in general prices. For 2 of us it costs around 700. One interesting part in Ahmedabad restaurants is that if you opt for buffet everthing becomes unlimited..So you can have soup twice! and so on. I am going to continue visiting this place.
