Reviewed June 23, 2012

Me and my wife had take dinner (Pure veg Jain food) @Shakahari.
First they give us special two person candle light area table.
We didnt have booked table but they give us well table.
The interior and our setting area very romantic for us
Food they have given that was as per our taste 100% jain food
Cocktail was very yummy its mix of Leeche crush, fresh leeche.
First time i have taken starter of paneer stuffing and that was very very good.
Main course we have 3dishes (Mix veg,Shahi Paneer and Chana masala)
Also all kinds of Rotis, Parathas etc
Rise and Dal fry was also delicious.
Finally the desert was very very delicious.
They serves three types of desert and was fantastic.
Staff works very quickly.
Its Great and memorable moment for us.

“Very expensive for above average quality and less quantity”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

The restaurant didn't meet the expectations.

We were 7 persons and didn't have reservation. Though it was Thursday around 7.45 and the restaurant was 80% vacant, we were given 2 tables of 4 in a corner and were told that the remaining tables were reserved. This was not acceptable.
So make sure you reserve the table no matter you go there or not.

The service was good.

The taste was good but we were not delighted.
They should provide more quantity for the price they ask for any item.

One curry can serve only 2 persons. It should have been shared with at least 3 persons.

They have buffets options starting from Rs. 850. But we opted for a la carte and the bill was Rs. 4000 for 7 persons. We had 3 soups, 4 curries, 3 ice teas, 2 paneer kulchas, 4 butter rotis, 2 butter naan, 2 biryanis.

“Average food and spread, could improve”
Reviewed January 20, 2012

I visited here with a business guest and the place is ok and probably at par with any 4/5 star restaurants in Ahmedabad. The food quality is good but the spread is very minimal. We did the buffet which was a mixed bag of Continental, Chinese, Thai, Indian and Mediterranean spread but everything was very minimal and not upto the mark in terms of taste and autheticity. I'm sure Chef's have tried to adjust to the local tastebuds and changed the recipes. But its not bad at all.

The only thing we were not comfortable was the seating. The chairs are a little uncomfortable and during the day time it can really get hot inside 'coz of the heat of the Sun directly coming inside.

Otherwise good place to eat or atleast another safe bet in Ahmedabad.

“Nice Atmosphere”
Reviewed January 18, 2012

Good place with great atmosphere. Parking facility is now available. Food is ok if you choose Rs. 1000 unlimited meal but the Ala Carte is value for money. Service is good. Nice place to take someone on date.

Go Enjoy.
