The place was beautiful and as I had read it had lot of influence of Muslim architecture in its construct. It was in stark contrast to the rani ki vav that we had visited just a week back. Well worth a visit. The crowds on weekend can be huge.

Fantastic architecture. Well worth a visit, lovely and cool and only about 10 minute taxi ride away from Auto World Vintage Car Collection. Located out of the city centre.

The architecture of the place is really wonderful and if one wants to understand why and how the step wells were introduced, a good place to learn about the same. There was a lot of science and logic to things even then and it is surprising to understand the same. The architecture is a beauty, the carving work is really beautiful. The lawn is also well maintained and in the heat of Ahmedabad a good place to sit and enjoy, both the lawns and inside the step well. Decently maintained though they need people to monitor the visitors and fine them when they are spitting and littering the place and also try to clean up outside the premises slightly.

Loved the seven level step-well marvel of architecture. The carving works on the stone pillars are very artistic. Good place to visit if you like archaelogical locations.
