When I was a child, this restaurant was very famous for it s typical Gujju Food items and it s gujarati thalis. far from the city traffic, nice relaxing place where you can find lots of entertainments along with the food like Puppet show, traditional dances, etc. By the passing of time, at present, I would say it has lost it s charm, but still will recommend for the visit..

visited at night is best. the bhajan singers and the seating area is authentic village and releases stress of city immediately
the huts where they prepre food are village type yet so clean.you get such a fabolous variety of desi food and sweets are fresh and hot as per your order.the dressing of the servers is desi. the handwash style is unique.all ages will enjoy here but be sure to make as large a group as you can.the bigger the merrier and yes.please carry a warm sweater or shawl as it tends to get chilly.even the paan is different desi made of wet khajur.

Just got back from Vishalla and we wanted to put up a review. The food is great - it's fresh, there are loads of little dishes and they are very tasty. The staff are friendly, can't give you enough food and are attentive. So food and service are of a high standard.

What's really different is the 'experience'. From when you first enter the premises walking in down a dark path lit with little lamps, to the visit to the museum, to the welcome drink whilst the musicians play, then moved to the dining area where you are sat down on a little rug with a long wooden table in front of you and then the food starts to come thick and fast.

There are some nice little surprises which I won't give away, but we had a great time and would definitely recommend. We went as a couple but it would be a lot of fun as a large group or a family too.

It's reviving the wearing out tyraditions of Gujarati Village and the original Gujarati food. The traditional puppet show and local magicians also remind of the loosing ancient arts. Its better to visit during October to March to avoid excessive hot weather.
