“Try some authentic Gujarati Cuisine”
Reviewed May 17, 2014

Go for the thali, I was amazed with the options, for 230 INR you can have unlimited vegetables, breads (puris and rotis) as well as rice.Though I didn't like the aam rash, gave me a feeling of drinking maaza

“Great for a one-time try”
Reviewed May 2, 2014

Tried the thali. Being a non-Gujarati I am not too fond of sweet flavors in dals and vegetables, but the thali was quite nice on the whole. The salad was amazing, so were the rotis and a few other items. The basundi took the cake though! I polished off four bowls with amazingly light and fluffy puris and felt I had gotten my money's worth on that count alone :)

The service is prompt, and it's quite a sight to see the systematic smoothness with which the servers come one by one to serve each dish. They are also keen on ensuring quick refills and in encouraging you to have more, which is a nice touch. The servers are dressed traditionally which adds to the ambience, however the lighting could be brighter and somewhat more cheery. More variety in the dishes served would be great too, as some of the veggies were not particularly different and were quite similar to what you would find in an average Indian home.

“GUJARATI FLVOUR”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

Sasuji, means mother in law. As mother in law always become ready to serve you delicious food, this restaurateur too is ready to give you the best aromatic delicious Gujarati food. It is well situated just middle of the famous CG road. All kind of good shopping stores are nearby, especially at Panchvati. Food is good and they serve it plenty full.I recommend to go there after you have finished with your buying and other work, as I am sure that after taking heavy Gujarati food you would not be able to do anything for hours.

“A nice neat rounded meal”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

A good example of wholesome Gujarati Thali .. with all of the tiny little bowls of daal (lentil - they make it sweetish here), and assorted curries... various types of roti and rotla (with ghee and white jaggery). Do remember that there is sumptuous Khichdi to finish up with (and rice, if you need), so do not fill yourself up all the way just yet. The sweet in the bowl, Basundi, I think was just awesome!
