The Lemontree Amarante is an excellent place to stay in Goa and is in a location that gives you a different world experience.
It was our first time in Goa and we are very happy to have made the right choice of booking with Lemontree.

High Fives:
Swimming Pool: They have an awesome pool with a bar counter (especially the in-water stools at the bar counter are a must experience )
Well maintained: The rooms are clean and quite cosy. Their room-service is good and the staff are hospitable and friendly. They accommodated our early check-in and late check-out requests, though they were fully booked.
Location: The Candolim beach is only a 5-min walk from this place and is very convenient. The resort is located in a very good area in Goa where you can experience a new culture.
The exact choice if you want to match your expectations of the look-and-feel of Goa. All required facilities(Department store, ATM, medical shops, restaurants, bike hire etc) are at walkable distance to the resort.
Shopping: There are several shopping lanes very close-by and are most convenient to shop. The shops sell at decent prices as compared to the Saturday market or at prime sight-seeing locations.
Restaurants: The restaurants near the resort are a must visit and can give you a very different dining experience and some yummy local cuisine.

On the whole, a fantastic experience with loads of comfort and all expectations met.

Room Tip: Pavillion Room is good.

This was our first visit to Goa and we did not know whether to stay in North or South Goa. Next was what kind of hotel we should stay.

We were aware of Lemon Tree chain of hotels and when we got a good deal, we took it. Our experience in the hotel was superb. Room was clean and the house keeping staff was pretty regular in maintaining cleanliness. There were two resturants in the property and both were equally good.

Since it is located in South Goa, beaches were close and you can spend a lot of time on beaches. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool that the hotel has.

Overall, experience was excellent and will stay in this hotel in future.

We stayed here from 22nd Jan fro 7 days and found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, we had a Plaza room which is their standard room, it was large and we were more than happy with it., Its ideally located, you can walk out the back to get to the beach, some reviewers have made a bit of a fuss a about the track to the beach, for heavens sake you are in India, its a track with a few stalls selling bits and pieces, not dirty and certainly nothing to worry about. The hotel staff are very friendly, Sidesh in the Restaurant and Bibek from housekeepimg deserve particular mention. All the restaurant staff at breakfast were helpful but after the first day Sidesh when above and beyond, when he saw us come in he straight away got our prefered tea and coffee, had dosas and pancakes made for us and always with a great big smile on his face, so up lifting first thing in the morning. My only slight negative comment would be that the reception staff need to interact more with guests, its not that they are unfriendly but when you pass reception they just keep their heads down, the is no acknowledgement or eye contact which just seems a bit odd for front of house staff.

Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed everyday! I would want to give a fair review and not an emotional one. so heres Pros n Cons according to me:
Pros:
1. Amazing staff, always looking to serve you. help is just a call away. very attentive.
2. Beautiful pool(4 ft deep, ideal for non swimmers also) with attached pool bar and music on request. I preferred being in pool than go out to a beach.
3. Beautiful ambience, looks minimal yet sufficient to keep you happy. Sometimes i felt i should stay back at hotel instead of going out.
4. Citrus cafe, the in-hotel restaurant, is very good and and serves a buffet which is basic yet fulfilling.
I would suggest to include breakfast and lunch/dinner package in your hotel package.
5. Location is ideal as its placed on candolim road which has so many good hotels and eateries within a kilometer. You can walk to reach anywhere,to a beach, any good hotel, many shops.
Fort Aguada, club cubana, club Titos, beaches like calangute, baga, anjuna within 15kms distance.

Cons:
1. Rooms are not spacious at all, you would feel a lil put off once you enter room. But if you are not planning to stay in room for long then this is good enough for basic needs.rooms are very well kept, neat, clean but small.
Do not choose Garden rooms.Garden is outside 2 meter attachment to room which makes you wonder if it was needed or not.
2. Overpriced, if you think as to why you paid so much for a small room. But one can choose this, based on value additions at hotel as mentioned in PROS.

Overall very happy with this hotel. I am happy i dint choose any other 5star hotel as i got 5star treatment at this 4star hotel. For me size of room does matter but was overcompensated by all value additions. Felt Live entertainment in evening would have made this place perfect.

Well I would go back again and again to this hotel without thinking twice.
Thank you for the LemonTree experience.

If you are looking for tastefully done rooms, beautiful landscaping lawn, swimming pool and awesome food with a smiling staff...this is where the search ends. I visited the hotel from 3rd to 7th (yes today!) Feb 2013, and I will definitely go back there. It isnt close to the beach and hence renting a car for 2/3 days or a scooty is the best option since it is centrally located to up north beaches. The food, very essential element of any holiday is fantabulous. The guests are mostly expats, the resort is perfect!

Room Tip: I stayed at the Pavillion and it was perfect for 2 adults with a attached balcony and bath
