Food was very yummy great selection of both Indian and English. Entertainment was great karaoke, live bands/performers, fire dancers etc. Snake talk was cool an outside charity brings snakes to the resort this can be bit scary when you have an angry cobra just yards in front of you Mario and Michelle organise the talk and Mario is well experienced with snakes. The staff really did have an impact on us so very friendly, happy and helpful and would definately go to the same resort again. Every night the staff one in particular "Cheeky Harry" would request I sing as they liked my performances on the karaoke night so I could not get away without a song. So if you've a great voice and love to sing I'm sure they will request a song from you its all good fun and boosted my ego a bit :). What ever you do if your not interested in time share get in a cab with a complete stranger telling you about a beach party and you have won beer its a whole lot of coblers and they just want to sell you part of the time share acomodation. There is an embroidery shop up the road had some T-shirts done for our business great quality and reasonable. Exchange rate shops good one is the elephant shop they sell loads of stuff confectionery etc. NB: The Elephants Do not encourage the guys on the street with the elephants go to the spice plantation or The Water Falls they are treated much better. Theses guys are cruel to the elephant and try to get you to donate to a charity that doe's not exist. Also the cobra's these guys called Snake Charmers mainly on the way to the beaches remove the glands and the cobra later dies they then get another one and repeat time and time again. If you see this report it to Mario or inform reception. You can get some great bargains in Goa but a good tip is to haggle they really are hard work but its all good fun to get a bargain. Oh if you love Prawns then try the tiger prawns these are not included in the all inclusive you have to pay separately but well worth it and the fish tikka masala is delicious. Overall we loved this place was a great holiday. Thank you to all the lovely staff :) x

Just back from our 4th trip to India. Not stayed at whispering Palms before. Arrived at 10am and our room wasn't ready as checkout is 11-12am. Our check-in was very efficient though and to prevent us from having to wait any longer we were given upgraded rooms- no complaints there! These were away from the pool and so it wasn't noisy at night. Towels changed every day and bed linen changed twicw a week.
The service from the staff was second to none, especially Hari, Rohit and Raj who were our favourites, but ALL staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble.
The food was excellent, a great selection to cater for all tastes and a BIG thanks to the chef in the a la carte restaraunt who made us a special "hot" dish - it was mouth watering.
Entertainment was provided EVERY night until 10:30 and then most people would meet up round the pool for last orders drinks and share story's of the day with each other. We had a really good crowd at the hotel and lots of laughs. Last orders is at 11pm, but you can order as many drinks as you want and the waiters are only too happy to oblige.
Location is good- just a short walk to Sinquerim/Candolim beach - where the river princess can be seen.
We found an excellent beach shack -"Bonos" - its about 15 mins walk towards the direction of Calengute, but to be honest the walk along the beach was worth it - the staff here are brill also and believe me they have the cleanest and "best" toilets in Goa -proper plumbing and flush AND vanity units - his n hers showers. Try it you wont go anywhere else! Big up to Bhima ! They also don't allow sellers on this shack and the ladies who do the massages are lovely especially Maddy and her mum!
Two downfalls about the hotel- One was that you were charged "extra" for diet drinks - not good if you are diabetic and Two we had to come home :(

Can't wait to go back next Easter!!

The Indian airport was a nightmare the temp was 38degrees, customs took forever watched over by armed police. We had to fight the locals for control of cases although transfer coaches were 50yds away from carousel. Locals won, more experienced in earning a few bob for placing cases on bus. Can’t blame them, enterprising. All good fun and nothing we didn’t expect.
Journey to hotel was 1 ½ hrs depending on drops, driver could give the Maltese drivers a run for their money.Horn sounding seemed to be compulsory every one was very accomplished in its use .
Check in was very efficient and the complimentary glass of orange on arrival most acceptable.
The room we were given wasn’t up to scratch but in the am with the help of IVAN our rep management were only too happy in arranging a transfer to a better quality room.
Beds were changed very frequently and rooms cleaned every day, no complaints at all.
Food was just as expected, Indian spices in everything except the toast, but what do you expect? When in Rome.Didnt know what we were eating most of the time.
Could do with a more varied menu which incorporated euro dishes but you have to remember you are in India so don’t expect too much variety.
Tuc/tucs are a great mode of transport and I highly recommend them, taxis are good and reasonably priced.
Go to the flea market, great experience as is the night market.
Panjim is well worth a visit, Go by the free ferry, tuc/tuc will take you to the ferry for about 150 rupees, great day out.
Food and drink in hotel on tap all day, waiters were excellent.
For the first time ever .Management asked our opinion and if there were any improvements they could make ,which we thought a great idea
All in all we had a very relaxing time ,there was plenty to do if you feel energetic and the nearby beach stretched for miles of golden sand.

Whispering palm beach resort , goa, india has a good location close to Baga if you like a bit of night life. Also Panjim is not to far away in a taxi. The beach and food huts are better in Baga than here but this is a better hotel than any I have seen in Baga The staff in this hotel try their best with any requests you may have. food and services is quite good for a 3 star.If you give the bat staff a little tip early on they will look after you for the rest of your holiday. The only drawback I found with Candolim was the big tanker that has run aground just off the beach They've tried to move it a couple of times without sucess.

I am very happy with my decision to choose Whispering palms beach resort for my vacations. Whispering is very nice property, beatiful location (near to the beach), warm welcome, soft speaking staff & best hospitality. I am very happy and looking forward to stay in a same hotel for my next trip to Goa.
Note: Swimming pool and Spa corners were cleaned & local travel desk helps us a lot.
Friday evening party was the great event we had experienced.
