First get there and you are blown away with the beauty and tranquility of the place. The banyan tree itself is beautiful! The food was just as good as the scenery, best food in Candolim, slightly pricey but you definitely pay for what you get! Our servers Sonu and prabhat were amazing and very attentive. Especially Sonu! Absolutely must try the tub timgrob water chestnut dessert... was incredible!

A lovely evening at one of the finest restaurants of Taj.

Ambience:
Serene spa kind of ambience that pulled me inside the restaurant. The Bantan tree is breathtaking. The table next to Banyan tree is what you should try to get, we were not lucky enough.

Food:
The complimentary thai styled crispy cashews with honey set the perfect mood for a perfect dinner.
Most vegetarian appetizers in the menu were deep fried. We wanted something that's healthy and tasty and chef obliged us with Silken specially made for us. It just melted in mouth. Fried rice and veges in black bean sauce was nicely cooked. Servings were of good size. We were too full for desserts so will have to come again.

Must try: Those who don't mind fried stuff, must try the spring rolls. And the silken tofu too.

Service: well trained, soft spoken staff and very warm and welcoming service. Chef checked personally if everything was as per our need.

On Fridays, they set up an in house Goa style market which is next to the Banyan tree. It was fun to walk around and shop souvenirs, handicrafts, traditional jewellery and spices.

Will surely visit again, next time I'm here.

Had a family meal here and the food is excellent. Very nice atmosphere as well.

If you like Thai food it’s worth a visit but be warned it is expensive. A meal for 2 adults and 2 kids including drinks was almost 9000Rps.
