We had good reviews of Palm land, so decided to try it for lunch. But as one of the photos show, most of the seats are out in the open, with no shade. We did move inside, but that's not the most attractive area, and we were the only customers..
But to be fair, the staff were very friendly, sevice pretty good, and the food, Chicken Xacuti and a Prawn Masala, was very nice. With more time, we would have tried it again in the evening, when the open air part would have been appreciated more.

Service was not good and the food was not poor but below average. Big Mac the was the entertainment for the night a little better than karaoke. After we had eaten our main course we could not get any service, the waiters were to busy chatting to each other. So instead of having a desert and a couple more drinks we got the bill and left. This was probably our worst experience in three weeks. Did not go again.

We stayed at Sunset Beach so Palmland was our local and very happy about that. A little difficult to find if you dont know where to look but worth the effort. Good food, cheap drink and very friendly staff, what more could you want. Look forward to seeing them all again in 2014. "Brother in Law"

Sunbeds are charged at 100 rupees each so long as you're eating and/or drinking at the shack. Nice music but it gets loud at 4 30pm. Nice menu for lunch. Nice staff.

We stumbled across Palmland on our first night and had a lovely meal there. It is off the beaten track and with all the hubbub of the main road, it was nice to chill out under the stars. The food was lovely, staff very friendly and we went back there for drinks as we liked it so much.
