After being told by Taxi Driver that Rising Waves was now closed, and directed to another restaurant, we were then pleased to find out that Rising Waves had not closed, and this was a trick by some taxi drivers to divert custom elsewhere. We should know better !!
The restaurant is now run by John Mendez, with Moses as Head waiter, with his 8 years’ experience in French/Italian restaurant in Bombay, and friendly helpful staff.
Ate here many times, it has a nice atmosphere and food as always was excellent with a wide range of European and local options, all at very reasonable prices, and is our number one choice amongst the better restaurants in Candolim.
A special mention for our fillet steaks, which were cooked perfectly and the biggest and best we have had. Staff attentive and always on hand.
Located next to football ground, get a taxi and insist on Rising Waves, make it part of your holiday, you won’t be disappointed !!
