This museum has some interesting items on display that are related to stuff that happened in the White Sands Missile test range and other areas near by. If you are interested in space or space technology this is a pretty neat place to visit. Lots of test rockets on display and some other interesting artifacts (V2 rocket parts, Apollo parts).

We had never heard of this museum and it was tucked back into the mountains. It was a small, delightful little side trip, worth the stop.

If you want to see space exploration from days long gone by, this is an excellent place. If you want to see space exploration from more recent times, go someplace else. I loved the first visit. It will also be the last visit. Time just passed this by.

Although we didn't go inside the museum, the missiles and various exhibits outside were worth the trip. They even have an Imax theater there. The first chimpanzee in space is buried there just under the flagpoles. We enjoyed the park-like area that displays many missiles, rocket engines and even a high speed sled. We only stopped briefly as we were on our way to the White Sands Missile Range.

The IMAX "Hubble" was superb. There are lots of exhibits outside (free) and much more inside. Well worth the fee. Very interesting
