“Nice lake view”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

This lake is very clean. The tourists can expect good walks around the lake in good climates. However, the climate normally is good all the time at this lake.

“Dudhni Lake”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Beautiful destination. Scenic locale and a must visit. Boat ride at sunset time was mesmerizing and out of this world. A big let down was the lack of clear cut directions from Silvassa to reach there and absence of good eating joints in the vicinity.

“the unexplored silent beauty”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

Visited the place and stayed 2 nights in an adjacent Hotel. The lake is totally unexplored and very less crowded. Me and my hubby we both were so surprised to see how such a beautiful place remained unexplored by travelers. The lake is clean and so huge in size. The whole lake is surrounded by greeny hillocks and mountains, which make the lake so different. If I compare the lake with Lake Pichola of Udaipur, then my vote will definitely go for Dudhni lake. This place is unexplored and thats why lake is not ornamented with Lights like the Pichola, but the silence and beauty is amazing.

The Dudhni village people told me that the place can be visited any time through out the year. I visited in second week of January.

Why its a place to visit??

1- silence, scenetic beauty, greeny forest, romantic stay
2-romantic evening boating in the lake
3-sunset view from the lake
4-beautiful drive through the roads
5-to have awesome experience silence in the middle of the lake on boat

How to reach to the place

1- Normally i have seen people driving (we went from mumbai).
2-Driving from Khanvel to dudhni is amazing, some pics are attached here as sample only. The real beauty can only be seen and felt in own eyes.
3-The biggest mistake people do that they stay in Khanvel or silvassa and come dhudhni lake just for boating or as one day picnic. But I suggest to spend at least one night in dhudhni lake side hotel and to experience the real beauty of the lake.

Best time for boating in the lake

1-Evening from 5 o clock to 7 o 'c clock.
2- I must say that boating is costly, but its worth. for 30 mins they charge 200 rupees and if you wish to visit the garden in the other side of the lake, you will have to pay extra 50 rs. However, garden visit is optional and one may skip it.
3-Before boating they only allot you a boat number and after you come back from boating, you will have to pay.
4-I suggest you to at least go to the sun set point at 6 o clock for an amazing sunset view and ask the person to take you the middle of the lake during/after dawn. The silence and the chattering of birds may be heard in the dark and is such a different experience altogether.

This place is very nice to visit for one day piknik. You can hire boat for Rs.200 for 4 people. I liked the very clean water of this lake & boating.

“Great option for a evg timeout”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

Water sports are good and just about affordable.
The quiet boat ride is MUST do here.
Carry your food if you can; scanty options otherwise. The only restaurant at the spot is not bad.
