A delightful experience, enjoyed the food, the ambience and especially the deserts. Thailand special ( Songkran ) is going on and seeing the authentic Thai food, felt as if actually in Thailand. The service was good, food excellent and above all not too pricey !!

Located on 1st floor..gud for get togethers or sunday brunches..live chaat pappri indonesian ,chinese ,italian ,salad interactive counters. Over 20 desserts to choose from which is largest spread in chandigarh. Can get bit noisy at times. Service is average. Overall an enjoyable experience.

“Amazing breakfast spread and exceptional service”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

The breakfast service had the unmistakable Marriott stamp on it. The staff came up with great recommendations, the fresh ABC juice and the tandoori paranthas were easily the best among those.

Chef Harpal spoiled us with his tandoori gobi paranthas and paneer paranthas. The Apple-Beet-Carrot juice was the best vegetable-fruit blend that I have tasted. The paranthas were very light and tasted just like what we make at home. The continental spread was excellent and the omlettes were fluffy and a delight to eat. The hash browns had the perfect crispiness and the sauteed mushrooms were very tasty. The black coffee and masala chai were a great way to end the perfect breakfast.

They did miss a detail though. The beans in the sauteed vegetables were ripe and didn't taste well the first day. It's hard to overlook that lapse given it is the JW! That's the reason for the four stars though I'd rate it at 4.5, if I could.

“A pretty poor buffet experience.”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

We had 2 breakfasts and one dinner here, as they were included in our room rate.
While the breakfasts were rather good, the dinner was absolutely bad - the food was of a very basic level, it was impossible to find a non-spicey dish, and the entire place felt like a noisy market. Definately not the best way to end the day with a nice dinner.

“Not the best in town but still doesn't disappoint”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

I went to The Cafe@JW along with almost 10 friends, actually I left the job and was going for higher studies so party was on me. To tell you about JW it is a awesome place to go, the feel of ambiance will make you feel as if this is best place. The cafe scene was also good, we opted for buffet option but the service we got was a little on a slower side but we didn't mind that because we had ample time to spare. The salad has huge variety both veg and non veg and snacks served were awesome specially the fish we had , also dinner was usual punjabi dinner no speciality in that but dessert section was full of choices , you can have freshly cooked wafers with chocolate sauce and wide variety of pastries, sweets and other desserts.
Overall it was a great comfy and tasty experience. I am sure things will improve in future as it was newly opened then.
