Owner description: Next to city centre, in Sector 16 is situated Zakir Hussain Rose Garden Asia's largest Rose Garden and is spreaded over 30 acres of land having over 1600 different species or roses. These have been planted beautifully carved out lawns and flowers beds. Like the cultural zone which is just across the road in sector 10,this was also planned by Dr. M.S. Randhawa as his interest in horticulture and fondness for flowers was profuse.

This the place situated in the 30 acre area and have the max no of veriety of Roses. This is a place to take a walk, to rest on the grass and take the photograph of roses and in between your loved once. The best time to visit is Jan & Feb. of every year because this is the time when roses are in full swing. There is no entry fees. If you want rest while walking through the roses then there are no of benches under the trees which can give you a time for rest. In this garden a beutiful light & music fountain is available which operates in the evening so the evening is beautiful and you may enjoy a lot.

What's to say? It's a beautiful rose garden, with plenty of benches under leafy trees and lots of grass to sit on. Lots of different roses to look at, and generally a very peaceful spot.
