“Nice Creativity”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

It was a very good idea to build a park with the use of all waste items which are generally dumped somewhere. The park is very well built and is huge in terms of area.
A must visit for tourists.

“Art Personified”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

A place where dirty, filthy n useless items are transformed into works of art. Useless items like broken bangles, plastic bottles r artistically carved into human beings, plants, trees n other such beautiful things.... Come n see it to understand a place where dirt rises like Spinx from its own ashes to have rebirth. Welcome to Rock Garden, a must visit place....

“The Kingdom of Gods & Goddesses”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

The Rock Garden of Chandigarh was created ( and continues to be ) under the guidance of Mr. Nek Chand, who is one of India's National Treasures. And believe me, this site is not to be missed !
25 acres of mosaic-delight. Maneuvering your way on foot from room to room and environment after environment through this enchanted site is really like no other. Dozens of monkeys, elephants, birds, goddesses all made from cement , discarded tiles, and glass bangles ...... on and on. You will leave uplifted and wanting to return.
Created completely using discarded materials, Nek Chand's imagination is definitely a site to behold.
Entrance fee : 10Rs.

“Do not miss it!”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

The Rock Garden was recommended to me when I had a few free hours between business meetings in Chandigarh. It was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone visiting this city.

Prepare to spend a few hours here - the garden is set up in several phases, with waterfalls, bridges, trees/flowers, statues, and more. The best part is that the entire garden is made from trash gathered by Nek Chand over a number of years. It is amazing to see what beauty can come from broken pottery, trash cans, oil drums, and much more. The garden is like a maze - bring a camera and prepare to spend a few hours just finding your way through the garden.

This is a sight that should not be missed while visiting Chandigarh!
