“Creativity at its peak”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2013

This is a garden with a different concept, it has thousands of sculptors made with waste material. Although each piece of work has been crafted painstakingly and creatively but the garden could have been better maintained. If you are visiting Chandigarh, this garden is a must visit.

“Perfect Example of spoling a great place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2013

The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a perfect example of how not to manage a tourist attraction and how to best spoil a great place.
First view of the place and you really look forward to it. Concept is awesome and work really attracts you to itself. However, very soon you realize how badly managed it is. Entry to the best place goes through streets with urine spread all over and badly smelling.
I would still recommend this place to everyone to go for first time, but I would not go second time.

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

The Rock Garden, Is The must visit for all once in chandigarh. The rock sculptures in this beautiful garden were created by Nek Chand in secrecy.

The Garden has beautiful Figures resembling Animals, Womens, Men and Kids made up from all waste materials like Bangles, Broken toilet seats (Hardware Brand), Huge Mountains brought together to resemble Huts etc.

The Broken Diyas and Pots are placed together to create decorations.
The garden has man made Waterfalls , Pathways, Guffa's etc. apart from a children;s park and Aquarium Zone.

The Kids can play around on swings, Toy Cars, njoy Camel Rides. Another thing you cannot resist is the Mirror house. It'll just make u Laugh.

Developed under three phases, the place also has a well and A small Lake view as well..
