we had a very memorable stay at this place enjoyed it would have been the best if we can have a mobile signal there . nice room service nice management. good food . and super bamboo chicken which is cooked right in front of the resort , people who would like to have a peacefull stay with family can visit the place.. was a bit afried once it went dark but will never get a place which is so calm ...missed the tribal dance as they met with an accident unfortunately... would love to get setteled over there if at all possible... a place away from all the stress , anger and of course ur boss! . all alone with my loved one was really worth beeing in ... nature lovers would love not to get off from this place.. most beautiful thing was i could not find a single ciggerate bud or any kind of drinks at that place .... will visit the place one more for sure.. I and my wife felf like it was a dream to find a place as such . we loved it to the core ...

Room Tip: All rooms are quite good either Ac or non ac ....

We had been to Jungle bells in July,2008. Its been very long time, but the memories are still Alive. We had taken a A/C Wooden Cottage and stayed there for two nights. The highlight of the property, though on the main road, was that it was peaceful. There was no TV or mobiles to disturb us. We took a bus from Vizag and reached there, the bus stopped right in from of the hotel. We had good time for ourselves. The only problem was that of monkeys wanting to eat our food. Food was ordinary, but was contended.
There were no shops , no ATM's around, stock enough of cash in case of emergency.

Nice place. Stayed in ac wooden cottage in August 2013 on our way to Borra caves. I booked the room from APTDC website. There were a lot of stairs to climb to reach to the cottages. Services are also good. Foods and all are just a dash expensive but quality is good. No TV or mobile networks. The room was good, only thing was AC did not have remote, so it can either be turned on or off, no temperature control. Individual cottages spread apart in the middle of the jungle gets a peaceful isolated feeling. There are no shops around, in case you need any soft drinks, better get them beforehand.
Overall we enjoyed our short stay there.

This is an average property with nothing as spectacular as you may expect. Rooms are nothing more than basic, food quality is rather ordinary, and service is almost non existent. The location of the resort is the only advantage of staying at this place. However, for this price, you have plenty of better options than Jungle Bells.

We booked this hotel after looking at the attractive pictures in aptdc website. We booked a dome room which costs 2000 rs per night. But when we went there, these people offered me a wooden house which costs just 1400rs per night, stating that dome room was under maintenance. I don't want to argue with those guys, as it will spoil my holiday mood. The wooden house is not so good, bathroom was not clean, no water, power cuts, mosquitoes, old bed and worst mattresses. Eventhough AC runs through out the day, room is still hot. We spend most of the time, sitting outside the room, which is much better. The food is also not so good. Most of the rooms were in bad state. Please enquire about the room condition before booking the hotel. The best part of this hotel is its location.

A Resort which is one of its kind - 2nd in ratings....but when we visited the Resort for a stay with our family, we found ourselves in a horrible jeopardy...just counting on the clock to tick faster and end the horrible experience. Firstly, the respectably responsible Manager - Mr. Sahitya Reddy, the unique person who has the bizarre ability to lie without the least provocation...answering every query of us in negative. Room Service - Not Available; Change for a better room - Not possible, Request for a room at lower altitude - Impossible (after he saw how much pain our senior members faced climbing to the topmost log huts allotted about 120 m high, and despite rooms at lower levels were available). My brother and his better half were just alarmed to find out the absence of any sort of boundary wall encompassing the Resort located amidst the dense forest on the hilltop, and got further petrified to find that none of the glass windows had any sort of hashbolt or fixation device. They piled up the wardrobe against the windows to hinder any possible threats. The staff were drunk while on service sans the Restaurant Boy, who was the only silver lining in our stay. Last but not the least - this Resort is a Phone less wonder - Stay here and get just cut off from the rest of the world...No phone lines, No mobile towers, no internet....Now u expect none in the middle of the jungle....but we couldn't have even called the police if any mishappenings had occurred. Bottomline: A Great Resort headed by the most enviable Manager, only to be admired from a distance....The food was good in respect to the compliments (?) jotted down above.

Room Tip: Just go and check it out...

This is a true advice to people who are planning to stay at "Jungle bells" tyda. If you really don't want to screw your trip avoid staying here. Where should I start with.... bad bad facilities, bad infra structure, non working AC's, different sort of poisonous lizards, no room service i mean every time you have to go through around 30 stairs (if not more) for any of your need, non co-operative staff, geyser only for show...............and what not!!!! naturalistic not et all.........
