The Central Court Hotel

stayed at the hotel for two nights from 6th dec to 8th december and had both good and bad experiences .the decor was good, room was excellent ,clean ,bathrooms perfect , ambiance was good, staff service was perfect,- the bad things where the hotel has to take care- there is a complementary breakfast but you need to visit before 9 am ,even though the timings say as 10am.if you visit at 0945,you get all leftovers at breakfast.secondly,on 6th december, had to wake up at 0530hrs since the hotel was given to some students and they created a ruckus all over- surprisingly, the hotel staff was a mute spectator to this ,coming back to the food, the food is expensive and if you are a office traveller, better to just walk out and get some good economical food outside where there are several joints.

Room Tip: take rooms on the back side ,and away from the lift

Stayed at the Central court for 2 Nights with Family. Booked through Travel Web site.

Was allotted a dinghy and old looking room on the first floor overlooking the Road.

Though the room was spacious it reeked of Old decor and Furniture. Wonder if I had this room because I booked though the Web site!

However the Hotel is really centrally located in the middle of Lakdi Ka Pul and all attractions are nearby. Birla Mandir is a stone's throw.

Breakfast was OK with most things you can ask for in Standard South Indian fare.

In room dining was a touch pricey even for the standard items we wanted

Overall a below par experience for the Rs 4000 odd I paid per night. Have stayed in way superior places for half the price paid

Ravi

Would like to visit with the family.....Has good service and decent breakfast...... The rooms are equipped with all necessities of a perfect bouquet hotel. The service staff is polite and professional. I would not recommend it for family visits..

Harping on "Best 3-star hotel award by AP in 2003", the hotel seems to be in a dream world and hasn't upgraded the service or rooms to the current competition. However, the rates have been upgraded though.

Location of the hotel is ideal for a tourist who wants to hop in an autorikshaw and get back for
a quick nap interspersed between the two sight-seeing halves of the day. Few of the tourist spots like Birla Mandir, Hussain Sagar Lake, Lumbini park are walkable stretch away (1-2 km). A modest vegetarian restaurant "Kamat Hotel" is reachable by walk.

Opted for "Standard" room for a 3D/2N stay. 24-hour checkout is very convenient (unlike the popular noon checkouts). In spite of mentioning a couple with a child, we were provided with twin single beds and had to call up the room-service to be joined (sic). Approx 250 sqft size includes the water-closet, which makes the living area a little cramped.

Service is reactive than proactive.. amenities are almost nil in the premises, and few of the WC accessories are sub-standard (wash basin taps broken, hot water not available, etc.).

Restaurant "Touch of Class" was the best experience of the stay. Ambiance and the service are equally pleasant. Food tasted well, and a good variety of veg and non-veg choices on a-la-carte menu. "Salt and Pepper" is decent for compliment breakfast with a good choice of south, north Indian and continental dishes.

Wouldn't highly recommend this hotel for the price as you may find better places around..except if you want to stay close to the centre of the city.

Terrible service and room. It took us over one hour to check in. Bed sheet and mattress foam were blood stained. After we informed them of the problem they were going to flip the mattress foam over until we insisted on getting a new one. The second bed sheet they gave us was old and worn, with rust stain. They said that was the best sheet they had. Changing the room was not an option either because we got the best room and they were going to down grade us to a smaller and dingier room for the same price.

Room Tip: Avoid this place
