Nautanki Gali is located in the Hi-Tech city area and has gained a lot of attention because of its' excellent interiors. Kids would love it and the it has a relaxing and 'loosen your ties' effect on even the most serious adult. With 8 seater auto-rickshaws working as make shift tables, a tree in the middle of the restaurant, vibrant coloured paintings, the place certainly is bright.

Reservations need to be made in advance. The spread is a multi cuisine mix of veg and non- veg items. There is a live chat counter and an excellent spread of starters. The main course is more staple. There is a live dosa counter, though it was not up to the mark. The desserts were fewer in variety but tasted excellent. The place also serves alcohol.

Overall, it is a fun experience and is highly recommended if you are going with kids or lots of friends/ colleagues.

Interesting and innovative atmosphere created with old bollywood feel (movie posters on the wall and wall created out of cycle rim) and offcourse the name of Ohri makes it a perfect place to hangout.

I had dinner at Nautanki Gali. It is buffet place, with no à la carte option!
The place was full of family crowd and hence it was noisy. The decor of the place was a strange mix of "All over India". There were puppets from Rajasthan, somewhere it gave an impression of a Punjabi Highway Dhabbha. The food was not so great, they did have quite a variety, from Dosa's to pizzas! Some of the counters were empty (at 2230hrs). Overall one can go to have a feel of the place once. Its not worth a repeat visit.

The place offers a very dabha type ambience which , to me, is very likable. The buffet spread is decent, but show stopper is the chat corner, that gives a very much north indian flavor.
Word of advice: the place is crowded esp on Wednesday and Friday, so get reservations.
