Came to Hyderabad for a good friend's wedding and had a large group stay at the hotel. This place is super stylish - felt like I had arrived in Miami when coming inside the lobby. The hotel also takes security very seriously (as I noticed at other 5 star hotels in India as well) - to enter the property there is a security gate and vehicle inspection, followed by baggage scan and metal detector. The service at the hotel was excellent.
That being said, a few complaints: there were other wedding groups, except they played LOUD traditional Indian wedding music both early in the morning and at night. This was a rude awakening after jet lag and I wish the hotel would have said something/stopped the people playing, as this happened at least three or four times during my three day stay.
Also, the bed was way too firm and so I woke up sore the next morning.
The hotel also charges a pretty hefty 10-15% "service fee" on top of the government's mandatory luxury tax, so the bill ended up being more expensive that we had anticipated. The meals at the restaurants were delicious and very high quality, but also were very pricey.More
