The good thing here, is the staff was always very friendly and accommodating, from the front desk, to the restaurant staff, to the room cleaners, they were always more than happy to help out and were very prompt as well.
The property itself is just sort of so so. I was here for a small conference type workshop, and had plenty of time to wander the grounds, and here is what I found.
The conference rooms are nice, we only needed a small one, but the chairs were comfortable, they were equipped with multimedia equipment and if it wasn't in there, they got it set up right away. They were prompt with getting coffee etc for everyone thought the days and keeping some snacks on hand as well. Looking in the other larger conference rooms, all seemed nice enough.
The grounds are decent, not spectacular, but they have everything a traveler normally would want, a nice pool, lounge chairs and tables, a large gym with most standard equipment, a decent day spa providing massage, facials, mani/pedis, body wraps/scrubs, and full hair salon. There's a full basketball court, beach volleyball, and tennis courts as well outside. There are at least 2 restaurants and a bar in the lobby area.
Regarding the O2 Spa, I had a massage/facial and was ok, but not great. They were actually a half hour behind on my appointment and half way through asked me to sign for it as they were closing the desk for the night.
The rooms are nothing special, at first glance they look nice, flat screen tv, lots of glass, a desk with numerous plugs, a safe and mini bar, standard stuff. Once in for a bit you start to notice the little things. The paint seems aged or dirty maybe, though the rooms are well cleaned. Light fixtures are not secured well or missing bolts, little exposed wires here and there, I guess it's just India maybe? There is no normal plug I type alarm clock, just a small clock you can set by dials on the back and you can't see it in the dark. No tub, just a big glass shower.
They leave a couple bottles of water each day when the room is cleaned and the cleaner left me a nice handwritten note as well.
Laundry seems to be done promptly, I had only one pair of pants and made a request to get them back overnight, and they had no problem complying with that request.
A nice touch was automatic shoe polishers all over the place, in the public restrooms and near elevators, for buffing up your shoes before going out or after coming in from the rain or what not.
The Square restaurant had a wide array of foods depending I the day, and though it was mostly Indian (as expected of course), there were enough other options if you chose to stay clear of eating all Indian all the time. Fresh naan was baked at your request.
So in sum, it was nice, but the rooms are showing some age and or neglect, perhaps they've just been this way since it was built.
