Aalankrita offers folks in Hyderabad a good weekend getaway that is closeby. The hotel is really big with a lot of options in terms of food. About 4 restaurants aim to satisfy the palates of its guests with each one offering a significantly different menu.

The sports area of this hotel is a hit though the entry fee is a little dissapointing. Why would you expect to pay an entry fee if you are already going to pay to play any of the games.

The SPA visit is also recommended

Aalankrita is a theme resort with the emphasis on a traditional Indian decor and feel. The architecture of the rooms and the furniture have a touch of traditional design in them which is quite interesting. The service is excellent and the resort is quite large with an in-house retaurant named Atiroopa which serves continental etc while an outdoorsy place "Prakruta"....its an ideal place for a weekend getaway and the is value for money without a doubt. They have a swimming pool too which can be accessed by the guests and also a spa where you need to pay but the massages are pretty good from what I understood. Also, they have a standard room and an executive room and from my experience. the standard room is better although its cheaper.
The room rent also includes a buffet breakfast and is decent. The food in Prakruta is quite good I must say. There is a coffee shop right at the entrance which is also a nice place to sit and have a chat. There is also a gaming arcade kinda thing which I dont know much about.
The only negative thing that I experienced was that they open your baggage right at the entrance to check it which is very ridiculous and unseemly for a hotel who calls themself 4 star. Hope they devise a more deviceful way of checking for explosives.
All in all, perhaps the best place when it comes to value for money and natural surroundings for couples/families living nearby as a form of weekend getaway.

Excellent resort. I had been there multiple times and in all seasons and was never disappointed. The place is full of trees and the morning are especially great. The food and wine are good though a bit expensive. Very peaceful. Polite staff. It has paid wifi. Excellent speed. The breakfast menu is awesome. I cannot find a single flaw with this hotel.

This is a resort about 20 klm out of Hyderabad. Wonderful, relaxing, great conference facilities, great swimming pool and cricket field. It is a more traditional resort style and great for a couple of days of relaxing. If you are having a conference - great location to take your group away. Great conference rooms, great service, great price and wonderful accommodation. We have held our conference here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both. I would highly recommend this as an Australian conference organiser. The food is fabulous and great value......the only negative - don't expect to lose any weight in this place.....

After listening to various friends in Hyderabad, I planned this visit over the weekend and took a package of Rs 6000/-. The resort is good looking place with full of greenery but some how the services are pathetic. After one hour of my check in, one bell boy came to my room and asked me whether I am checking out. In the evening, we went to one of the restaurant and handed over a voucher (part of package)...surprisingly...staff was unaware of the package and they haven't took our order for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the spa was great and my spouse enjoyed it. The rooms are dingy and smelling.

Next day around 1100 am, one of the room service guy came with tea (which I never ordered) and started asking to sign the bill and was not ready to listen that I have not ordered anything. I asked for a flask of drinking water which I got after 30 mins and 3 calls. On check out, I have commented all these things on the comment card...one of the senior manager saw the card, smiled and went out of the office. PATHETIC....

I will certainly not recommend this resort to any one.
