Having stayed in Hyderabad, have visited Aalankrita quite a few times.

The place is a little far off from airport- around 50-60 kms, but then that's what one is looking forward to when they are visiting a resort- calm, secluded locations.

The staff is helpful, but as the rooms are far off from the reception and main office, response time on any service requested is very long.

The grounds are very very well maintained, you would thoroughly enjoy the sceneries created.
However, rooms are very oddly built and anyone walking by can hear your conversation well, the window gives clear view of room's inside too and has to be kept shut at all times. The décor is minimal and most furnishing needs replacement.

The food is good, and served inside the restaurant at night and open area during day time.

Do not miss the spa service while you are there, they might also give you good discounts if you are on business trip and present your card.

Room Tip: There are some rooms in the main tower too, but ask for the hut type ones if you are looking for a 'resort' experience. All rooms will look similar. Only once you stay for few hours, you would start noticing the shortcomings.

I spent several days in downtown Hyderabad and was looking forward to getting away from the traffic, noise and congestion while visiting Aalankrita. First, let me say the grounds and quite well maintained - the outdoor common areas were quite beautiful.

The rooms, however, were disappointing - doors not sealed, staff walking past first floor windows (must have been some back shortcut to somewhere), beds, linens, bathrooms all were "aged" at best. Example: the shower door was almost non-functioning and we really did need a map of what switches controlled what. Hot water was provided via a switch outside the restroom. Air conditioner was not working but two young men literally replaced the power unit (on the floor next to a bed) while I watched.

The food and preparation was good but didn't seem as controlled as back home - but perhaps that's the standard in this country. Outdoor dining was a challenge due to insects.

We had light rain off and on during our stay (this added to the humidity and the need for air conditioning) but as is common in India, power outages fed the uncomfortable feeling of the room.

I do need to stress that walking the grounds is a beautiful experience. I didn't take advantage of the pool area. While there be sure to spend some time enjoying the surroundings.

Would I stay there again? I likely would. There may be other "resorts" in the same general area and I will look around and compare in the future.

Poistives : Beautiful ambience , the " antique " décor , well maintained gardens and greenery all round .Excellent Lunch and dinner
Improvement areas : Bed linen was not well maintained - lacked a crisp, clean look . Hygiene standards across all restaurants need significant improvement . All outdoor restaurants are teeming with flies. Breakfast quality needs improvement -e.g insipid tea . Overall service levels can do with improvement
Suggestions : The fixed menu option leads to a high food wastage as the portions are large . Convert this to a buffet to avoid food wastage .

The moment one enters the resort, one finds oneself in the midst of an ultimate peaceful surrounding which is unmatchable and beyond any body's belief. As one walks through the resort one finds the beauty of greenery all round. the resort has actually numerous plant species to boost its ambiance. The architecture, the numerous flowering and fruit bearing plants and trees, the pathways and the majestic statues of Lord Buddha creates an awesome surrounding that is bound to deliver peace of mind.

we were spell bound by the natural beauty, the architecture, and above all the service provided to us by the staffs of the resort is commendable.

this time we went as part of our organizational training program, but i will definitely visit again with my family to this lovely place in coming months...

Room Tip: Choose the executive rooms..these rooms have huge windows. Avoid the standard rooms as some of them don't have windows.
