This was the official residence of the Nizam of Hyderabad. In the centre of the old town, it is large and has a dry fine ballroom, as well as exhibitions of the artifacts of the palace, armor and even a vintage car collection. By the standards of Indian monuments it is well maintained, though it seemed odd not to have any kind of guidebook available. You will need a minimum of an hour to see the place, and couple spend twice that if you linger. There are also some attractive gardens.
