Saw mill Chatham is one of the Oldest and biggest of saw mills of India . When you enter their is a huge gate with Indian Emblem on it , which will make you feel proud. When you enter , you will be astonish to see how well maintained and how well behaved are the workers in there . There is nice muesum inside which tell you some old stories and art works of past time . Then u can enter the main premises and can actually see the working . The workers will guide you to understand how the machines work. This Is just a good end to your trip as mine .

It can be looked upon as an educational visit to a sawmill. There is also a small museum inside which may satisfy a few people. However, if you are running short of time during your Andaman trip, you can skip it and will not miss much. You may rather spend maximum time on the beaches.

Well actually speaking there is nothing to see there. instead it should be made a proper museum in view of British airstrike over Chatham island during world war II.
